Hey how's it's going. I'm planning on doing a 5sgte with a camry block and caldina head.. I've been planning to go with an over square setup. Which is a 3sgte rod cranks and specialized pistons to accompany the rods and 5sfe block. Also if your interested I'm doing a body kit install as well not veilside but a nice vis racing kit I've posted on the forced induction forums and have a bill progress there but I just wanted to get my full celica build on the celica build page. Any questions or inputs let me know and I'll answer anything to the best of my knowledge.

Where you from in the Midwest I'd love to come by and help I live in winona minnesota.

I have an extra 3rd gen 3sge laying around and might just supercharge it for the hell of it. Just cause it would be different.. now twin charging just sounds like a waste of money compared to a anti lag set up which your going to get more out of..

Pretty sure they are siliconed in me and my dad took my rear windows out for when we were painting my celica and to use jigsaw talk about being a bitch. Parts for these cars are somewhat hard to find I'd check the buying/selling forum section of this site for parts cars being parted out. Other then that local junk yards or big city junk yards usually have them. Have fun they are a bitch to do lol

I'm going to be posting pictures of the camrys engine and transmission as soon as I get it either Thursday or Friday it has a lot of miles so I'm going to replace everything when I have it out to build it of course so I've been researching some stand alone ecu's anybody got some suggestions that are some great ecu's that worked for them?

well now that my build thread is dead its time to bring it back to life.. im planning to go with the over square since i never got what i wanted from that guy my dad knew because he never sent them after i paid for them.. but thats besides the point my car has just been sitting for 2 years waiting for the beast of the 5sgte i had promised it so lately i got a great opportunity to get a 2000 5sfe camry hehe lucky me.. well i get that next week and within the next year im going to be buying things for my swap. being said, caldina head is my go to for a 2000 camry am i right? ive seen a guy i dont know what forum but hes kinda the same setup going on but i want to oversquare the setup and see how the caldina likes that. its going to be a long and painful year waiting for this beast of an engine grow. but when it goes in im going to have myself a beast and thats what i wanted my little st to be. so let me know thoughts, or questions pertaining to the build.
