as much as I want to, I'm very very low on money. It's the reason why I'm looking for cheap ways to do this haha

But I don't know how much that'll cost me, this ebay one is only $70 plus shipping and probably $15-30 for installing? I have no idea how much their homemade mufflers would cost me plus installation, however you do have a point in that.

Hello all, it's been a while since I've been here. So here is my problem, my exhaust system is all stock and one day I noticed that the muffler/pipe(?) had a hole in it(?) I have no idea how it happened and it's been a year since it happened. Well anyways, I took my car to the local muffler shop and asked them if they could weld the thing off. Long story short, they welded it off and it's been running fine but now it's time for my yearly state inspection and I need a muffler to even get my car inspected. I saw a universal muffler on ebay for $55 and $15 shipping but my problem is that the inlet is at 2.5 inches and I've seen that the stock piping for the Celica is only at 1.75 inches. So how would I make that fit exactly?? Thanks for the help! smile.gif

Car is at 200,000 and I feel a difference in the way it runs, it doesn't accelerate smoothly or switch gears smoothly even though its an automatic and even when I brake my car is rocking back an forth on the way to a stop. What seems to be my problem, should I just change the spark plugs?

I just recently fixed an oil leak about 3 weeks ago however the car's engine bay would smell like oil burning but there is no leak. I feel it has lost some power though. It is also at 200675 miles. Help please it runs fine even with a loss of power but i think it could run better.

My radio reset after changing the battery so I'm wondering if all Celicas have the same factory code to unlock the radios?

Turns out the clamp wasn't tightened enough my friend was the one that placed it, now I learn that if you want something done, do it yourself lol. So I. Shouldn't get an oil change yet, everything's fine?

So I was driving for about 30min and then when I parked my car my friend asked to see my new low beam bulbs and when I opened my hood I saw that the pipe was detached and the intake was just there chilling. What might be possible problems if you drive without an air intake and what should I do to fix it?? I saw that I should change the oil immediately, should I?

So we finally replaced it and car seems to be working fine but there's still a little bit of smoke coming out sometimes and a really small oil leak but nothing compared to the old one, what do you guys think can fix it??

So my oil is leaking because the valve cover wasn't placed properly or the rubber seal needs to be replaced?

another thing is that when we put the valve cover back, we didn't put any sealant so is it the reason why the oil was leaking? this is my first car with no experience what so ever so please forgive my stupid questions.

i didn't replace any parts just the one tube where it connects to the EFA thing because we couldn't return the old tube. also, as far as i recall, we torqued down the valve cover nuts properly. thanks guys for responding so fast. also if it helps the oil leak is at the back of the engine.

So me and my friend had a stupid idea to try and color my valve cover. So after the deed was done we drove it from Garland to Dalllas and when we got to the destination the engine was smoking and we tried to put oil in again so we could get home. Then we got home it ran out of oil again. My question is, what happened to make it go like that? frown.gif

Well it happened after I installed one of those cheap eBay short rams. I seriously can't even think how it happened because I always drove the same from my house to my friends but this time with air conditioning turned on. I already know that the gauge is sort of messed up but now when I don't use my air conditioning I seem to have better mpg

So last night I drove around and turned my AC on after a long time, after about 20minutes I felt my gas drop. From 1/2 tank to near the bottom. This is the first time this happened to me and I don't know what may have caused it. I think I burned like 2 1/2 gallons in 20min lol

So I was planning to buy a new resonator, the stock one is too small for this muffler I bought and I was wondering what the length and the diameter should be. My 95 gt is stock and I'm just planning to change whatever's after the cat.

Hi all! I've been lurking these forums for a little while and what actually made me join is seeing one of the members here driving on I30 west this past monday.l. I think he's the one that owns a grey supra. Well anyways, I have a 1994 or 95 red Gt coupe. Sadly it's not standard and there's a lot of problems with it.
