Man, that turbo setup is sweet and clean. How does she feel and what are your controls for it? |

In essence, the coil wire increase spark energy to the spark plug and the ground strap just groud your engine more to provide a better noise free signal to and from the critical electronics components. |

Check the intake manifold for oil in it. It maybe a leaking seal iaround the turbo shaft. MAy be too much oil in the engine. MAke sure that the engine breather is not connected to the intake manifold. Compresion test for leaking rings and vavles. Follow in the order about, althoughthe engine breather here could be first. |

I believe that todaracing offer vvti cams. But for the 3sg, no. There may do now, but cannot find any on there site. Either way, you may not lose that much when going to a big cams. Just tune for the engine sweet spot |

LOL In Japan, the ES100 is called DNA GP. Was up for 1+ year now. Just a comfort tire. Stick to the AVS Sport if you are a Yokohama love, since you cannot get the Advan Neova AD07. http://www.yokohamatire.jp/yrc/japan/tire/.../dna/dna_gp.jsp |

Why do want to lightened the flywheel and still bothering about keep revs. In racing, there is no need for this. |

All true! To keep the revs there, do not see why!!! use some 19" rims or even 20". It is better to start with basic mods and go from there. If you are turbocharging. It is slightly different. Injectors, boost control to my believe is the most important factors when relly thinking about turbo or over supercharging. |

Sweet SpedToe169! I am a Bridgestone and Yokohama Lover. In Japan, as you already know, there are the two main rivals. The S03 and the Azenis both had good and bad reviews. What you can help me out with is if the Azenis works better as the treads go? The Potenza models are suppose to get more grippier as there wear. I drive on RA1's and so as many people. But the type of mileage that we can some see, does not warrant this tire, unless speeding money is not a problem. My RA1 185 is almost equivalent to my Bridgestone Potenza GIII 205. I just cannot wait to try some 215 RA1. The only tire that I would like to see a review on is between Yokohama Advan AD07 and Bridgestone Potenza RE01 and the Advan A048 & Potenza RE55. Do you know of any sites that have these comparisons? |

really do not know. I problem is that if the results are going to be a 3sge, get a 3sge short block or the hold engine and go from there. |

Any new cams with make you rev a little more to get power and it all depends on setup. I would advice to buy a flywheel that to lightened it. The flywheel will make you accelerate faster, and make the engine responsive. The only problem that it is hard to keep the revs there once come on the clutch. |

It depends on what parts you are looking for. My understanding that the cams will fit. The pistons and so on. Will you want to go to turbo charging at 5psi? |

My advice to you is to get an Autronics SM or SM2 ECU. Why, you have them there and there are tuners there. I would also advice a Jun Flywheel, MSD Digital SCI Plus or a MSD Digital 7 Plus w/ HVC II coil. If you go with the Autronics, get the MSD DIS-4 Ignition controller which will allow a coil per cylinder. The Apexi filter and HSK Hi-Power also sounds good. Get some Hyperground Cables and some MSD ignition cables. Drop the car a bit with Tein or JIC or Cusco suspension. A bigger cam will require you to rev a little bit more to make power. Go with 264. It is very possible that you can go on the hks forum and ask for a turbo kit for the 3sge for 250 flywheel HP. There have all the parts that you can use., since majority fits the 3sgte. Spend some tine with blitz or hks. Even Jun can help you for what you need for your application. I will check my turbomagazine. There is a kit for the 3sge that was use on a lexus IS300 I think. But a lexus. The main problem with a turbo setup is the delivery of oil. |

the degree of cams would cause some problems. 264 would be good A nice Autronics would do good. Have them there in netherlands. The have high compression pistons already. Advice a small turbo with max 6-8psi of boost. But stated above, I have to wait on what he will tell me. |

VlaCelica Quote from http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?act=ST...=100#entry73624 "I got a question tough. I got a 3SGE engine that is about 175 hp stock (thats what is listed here in the netherlands, but i believe the engine should be 170 hp). What is the best (and cheapest) way to gain a bit more power without turbo charging it ? My goal is about 200 hp, and i want a faster 0-60 time. Stock its 8 seconds, and i want about 7 seconds. Got any tips on this one ? Also, if i would have alot of money, cant i just replace all the parts of my 3SGE engine with parts of the GT4 3SGTE (3rd gen) engine ?? Is this possible or do i need major adjustments to do this ?" I believe that every car should be fully tuned. Spark plugs, oil, filter change and so on. Please let me know how you normally drive. I use to drive flat out all the time. Now, I am trying to save gas. Sometimes, I have a little fun. But when I get serious, I crank the fuel up and lets have it. Look forward to your reply before I answer. |
