seems fine. I didn't drive it before, so I have no idea. seems like a dog compared to the 5speed we used to have though. |

well its in, and it works. same trans, just has different mounts in the camry, one trans line is different, and the shift linkage brackets are different, along with the kickdown cable. but it does work! got it for $150. everyone else wanted 300 and up for a celica one. camry auto should be easy to find. |

gotta get this one out, and going to compare it to a 96 camry one tomorrow. the 94-96 camry show to be the same, and looks the same. we'll see. |

I bought a 94 celica the other day. someone replaced the axles, and not too long after it quit moving. it grinds and pops when you put it in gear, so I figure the diff is toasted now. anyhow, I am wondering if the trans is the same as the camry's? seems like it would be except for the gear ratio maybe. anyone know for sure? thanks. |
