Hey 6gcers. I have done some searching around on a couple of sites (including this one), to find if st204 coilovers fit on a st185. Is it only the spring rate that is different? Or it doesnt even bolt up. i found a source saying front bolt up fine, and another source saying rears bolt up fine. Thanks for your help!! (Oh i will be testing this out my self later during the week, just thought if another person can tell me if it does.) |

You have to get a hybrid clutch setup. Needs to have 5sfe clutch spline with 3sgte pressure plate. Spec makes this clutch as well as other brands. I'm sure there are other guys on here that can chime in with the other clutch companies that make the hybrid kit. I'm just partial to Spec. Thanks for the info! How much hp can the 5sfe box hold? Just wondering, not because im going to have a 600hp celica |

What about just replacing the head gasket...? That's the most feasible option cost wise. Do it yourself and it won't cost over $100. What he said. Only it's for sure more than 100 bucks once you add up the fluids, gasket set, timing belt, tensioner, etc...but still. Just fix it. It only takes a couple days (if you're doing it right ie... sending the head to a machine shop to get resurfaced). Thanks for the replies guys! Im still unsure on what to do atm, but really would like to do a 3s swap @bsamps, just a quick question does the stock 5s tranny bolt to a 3sgte? (Considering that you've done the swap) I have searched around the forum for this and everyone says yes but some toyota nerd nearby where i live thinks not; so yeah. Thanks |

I've been trying a few cars.... Don't do it, it's bad I'm with 1MZ/BEAMS/3S-GTE.... Whatever suits your driving style and future ambitions best. Does WA have mod plate restrictions for P platers? I really want 3sgte swap. Just i wont be able to do it. Need a workshop to handle mad turbo swap. But the wait for it is mid feb next year until they start the car Over here p platers are allowed anything ahaha! Just need to have modification permits and follow the modding laws. |

Your interior looks amazing with those on dash gauges! I'm curious to know where and how much you paid for them. Those spacers also look pretty bad ass Thanks danmumo! The gauges you have to get yourself, but doggy can help you out with the gauge pod holders. Hey All, So the next step in my work on the car is to lower it a bit more and add spacers to the rears the get the flush look and i just wanted to get all your advice on what the best gear is etc, 1; What are some good adjustable coilovers that will work on a 94 ? Under $1000 and supplied to AUS if possible haha. 2; Same deal with spacers, how thick should i get, who should i get them from and should i fit them first so i know how low i can go ? Rims are 18x8.5 et35 on 225/40 tires. Here's a photo that might help with the spacer issue, its a thumbnail so click through. ![]() PS: I know i have to get my guards rolled and all that, its no biggie yet. Anthony Hey Chovies! Try Bc Br coilovers. Im on them at the moment and fully lowered; my car is about 3cm off chassis. Dont know how low you want to go but yeah. Also i got mine off ebay, for just under $1000 posted to your door less than 4days (and im in Western Australia!!) And for wheel spacers, try ichiba, got them off ebay as well. Approx $450 all up with postage. Im current running 30mm on front and 38mm on rear (hubcentric ofc) Firstly get your coilovers, then lower your car to where your happy and then get spacers. Thats what i did anyway. But thats my opinion! Goodluck! My thread: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=89426 (if theres anything in there that can help yah) |

Im running 30mm hub centric wheels spacers on the front and 38mm hub centric on the rear. No problems so far. Both from ichiba. If i were to run anything more than 10mm i'd get bolt. Thats my opinion though. My thread if you need http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...89426&st=20 |

Looking good (y) Just some suggestions: JDM tails and clear third brake light coupled with SSIII body kit Great to see some active Aussies on this site A few come, post once and then leave Do they make a clear third brake light or we have to do some diy? I will see how the car looks once the car has the spacers then may decide on ss3 kit The Clear third brake is made by Wolfie on this forum The seem expensive for what they are, BUT he does an AMAZING job and it is well worth the money. It looks just like it was made by Toyota with part numbers and everything. Thread. This mod, takes literally 30mins to finish. All you do is take the boot/hatch trim off, undo the bolts holding the brake light assembly in. Remove the assembly, pry off the red lens and put on the Clear. then reassemble. Once done, replace the Clear/Yellow bulb with a T10 Multi-RED LED and the difference is amazing. Before: ![]() After: ![]() Thanks! Most probably try it today ahahaha! |

Whatthe's car on OEM 15's; ![]() his car is so clean! the steelies will hide the spacers as well when i get them IMO ;p |

Hey guys! Awesome thread @Harold. Im still unsure about all this flush fitment and want to be 100% sure before i buy. 17x9 +35front and back set. Would this hit the strut? And what spacers would i need for the rears? I dont mind having this a little less than flush. Thanks! |
