Yeah I have been on ClubRSX for a few months now. I went on there to read up on the cars potential before I bought it. |

Hey everyone, its been a few months since I have been on 6gc.net. Some of you might remember me. I joined this forum back in August of 04 when I bought my 97 Celica GT Convrt. Well I sold the Celica about 3 months ago and just picked up my 02' NightHawk Black Pearl on May 6. The Celica was my first car and had been relaly good to me when I owned it. I really liked it but the lack of performance just killed it for me. Well just wanted to stop by and see how everyone beens doing. And whats been going on. Here are some pictures of my RSX-S ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I was driving on white bear avenue in Maplewood Minnesota at around 1 this afternoon. I was driving in a dark green honda accord and looked in my rearview and there was a red celica (94-96 model) behind me. I was on my way to get my title transferred to the new owner of my celica. Who could this be??? |

The CD changer only has one plug coming out of it. It used to plug into the Cassette player, then the cassette player plugs into the car, thats how the CD changer got its power from. |

Well guys, as some of you might remeber I tried selling my car a few months back on here and had no buyers. So I decided to keep it until spring time. So here it is spring time and I just listed my car up for sale on Carsoup.com friday last. Now a week and the car is sold for $8000. While I had my Celica, I put silverstars, custom CAI from 95celGT, 01 GT wheels, and a pioneer deck. I'm sad that the car is gone, but also happy because now I can go in search for the 7th gen Celica GT-S that I always wanted. I know some of you on here say the 7th gen is ugly but I think its an exotic looking pre-sportscar. Well its been nice hanging around and interacting with you guys on here. Good-bye Tommy |

Well I'm a dope. When I took out my original 3 disc CD changer too put in my Pioneer I forgot to take the CD's out. Is there any way of taking it out when it is out of the car? BTW I sold my car to a lady in her 30's for $8000 and she wants the original 3 disc along with the pioneer. Thats why I need to get the CD's out. |

I actually said to myself that same thing. I bought my celica for 9500, with 9500 I could have gotten a b18 civic, or a GS-R. NOW MY CAR IS FORSALE. |

The B18C1 itself is a very powerful engine. Just rebuild it and mod that sucker. You can get 200+WHP all motor. Now thats a powerful motor. The H23 is nice but I think the GSR has more potenial in the long run. |

The 4th Gen Prelude Vtec is running in the mid-low 15's stock. With some nice I/H/E and drag radials maybe even high 14's. Or you could always turbo the prelude and tune it right, it would be faster than any 3s-gte Celica. 3sgte celicas i think run in the mid 14's, but not sure. Correct me if i'm wrong on this. You can find a 4th gen Prelude Vtec anywhere from 6000-8000 depending on miles and condition. I personnelly like the 5th gen Ludes, they are very nice looking and pretty quick. Running low 15's stock. And there is always a option for turbo. |

I could get my hands on some coilovers for cheap. But the only problem is the coilovers came off of a Maxima. Some people say that some coilovers are universal. Is this true? |

Is it really that easy? If it is I can I and a friend of mine could do it right? I don't have any experience what so every, but from what your saying it should be easy. EDT: Also shock insert and strut inserts and the same things right? |

Ok, my car is in total need of some new suspension. From what I know shocks and struts and basically the same thing correct? Well I don't know if I need some new ones for the back but the front is blown. I been researching and KYB GR-2's are only 47.95 per strut, so I could get the front fixed for about $150? Thats seems like a fairly cheap price. What do you guys think about these struts? Any other recommendations for around that price? Also another thing, everytime I come to a slow stop, I hear some really nasty sound coming from the back. I think its the brakes but it sounds like nails scrtaching on a chalkboard. I know its not my brake pads because I checked them and brake pads are just speaky noises. This noise is really terrible like water moving around and nails scratching. Any ideas? I just recently purchased some GT wheels of of a 01 celica. The tires are in good shape about 60% tread. After putting them on my steering wheel is starting to shake going about 30 to 60. And the tire noise is horrible. Everywhere I go I hear da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-d-da-da-da-da-da-da-da I'm planning on selling it this spring anyways. I'm getting a 00-01 GT-S!!! Hopefully |

If your going to part out, let me know. I would be interested in the lowering springs, TRD shifter, or if you have OEM side skirts. |

I'm planning on buying a 7th gen GT-S or a 5th gen Honda Prelude this summer if I can sell my car. The 7th gen GT-S is one of the most exotic looking car in the sportscompact scene. |

Yes tires included. He said the tires have about 50-60% tread left. I'm going to take a look at it this weekend. His prics is 110 OBO but i'll try and talk him down cause i'm cheap. |

I can get these rims for 100 for all 4. Do you guys think its a good buy? I think it would look better then the rims I have now. I don't know how to post a pic with the <IMG> junk so if anyone can help its would be great. Heres a link http://www.everythingcelica.com/gal3/stock20012/DCP_0037 If it doesn't work, its the 7th GT rims NOT the GT-S ones. 10 spoke rims not the 5 fat hubcap kinds. |
