I have searched hi, and low. The only catback exhaust for these cars that I can find is by Greddy. Went and ordered one, in the meantime we went and CUT the old exhaust off the car. The exhaust broke at the flexpipe when we where pulling the 5sfe out. So now would be a great time for a free flowing exhaust, which will help out the 3sgte. The day after we cut the exhaust off the car, we get an email back saying, that that the Greddy exhuast is discontinued. Well great, we just totatlly destroyed the old exhaust. I went back to searching for catback's again, and all I can find is the Greddy ones yet. Anyone have any clue, of another brand that has a catback for a 94 GT. Will one for a ST185 fit? Any help is highly needed. |

Well the motor 3sgte showed up today. Start looking at the wiring, of course, we bought one with an uncut harness. This thing shows up with the harness being trashed, the front cover has a nice 3 inch long hole in it. The catalytic converter was melted on the inside. Well off we go to town. First thing is, looking at wiring schematics, going to have to use whats left of the 3sgte harness and splice in some of the 5sfe. Does anyone have some detailed instructions on how to wire the ecu. After looking at schematics from all data, and mitchell's it looks like the two are wired completley different. We are going to need some serious help with this thing to ever make it run. We know a few of you guys have done the swap and it has worked great for you guys. Problems we forsee right now are things like the cruise, and a few other little deals. If anyone that has some infro on what goes where pin wise, or anything else, please post it, or email it to me at screamer27@mchsi.com We are swapping a 2nd gen motor into a 94 GT 5spd car. any help is highly appreaciated. |

I'm helping Goatrunner do the swap and I too was wondering if the car is a speed density setup or if it is a mass air style. I am not really familiar with Toyota's or anything that is special to them. I am a GM tech, so I'm more used to Domestics ![]() Any help with this would be grateful |
