i am planning on possibly doing the almighty 3s swap on my 5th generation celica, and i would be using a jdm 3s which is a non-egr motor, my question to you all is, how will i pass the good ol' sniffer test? without an egr valve wont the oxides of nitrogen be high? also what about the evap system... will that function properly... i live in AZ and emmissions is hard out here and i want to make sure the car will pass before i start the project, if anyshed some light on this question ione could will appreciate it.

its a Gt-s,the CEL is not on, so an obd1 code should not be present.

its a 5th gen GTS celica which is non- OBD2, any other suggestions

on cold start my car has an excessive amount of vibration, as my car begins to warm up, the vibration goes away during idle, but returns with a vengence around 2k RPM and onword throughout power band. i was thinking maybe Harmonic balancer? or maybe motor mounts, but the thing is the mounts dont move what so ever while the motor is revved, is there anyone that can shed some light on this topic for me?

on the ct26, do you have to run both the oil and coolant lines to cool the turbo, or can you just use Oil?

will the 2 bar map sensor (turbo pressure sensor) from a 87-92 supra work on a 5sfte celica project?

i have a 5sfe, and i pulled the spark plug wire out of the head and oil came out as well, i know there is a bad seal but what should i change the valve cover gasket or the head gasket??

its a 1.8L 7afe...1.6L is a 4afe and is only in corolla's and prizms

its not like i am doin it on purpose, i have all the money waiting for a system but i owe insurance and i am buying a new car alarm because my car almost got broken in to, i am not trying to hustle you guys, sorry for the inconvience...
