DSRT-FX: yeah I have sized it up on mine and you will need to drill out new holes to fix the 2 poster on, plus plug the centre hole left by our 3 post spoilers. Haha pity you are both in sydney, would be easier if you were closer wink.gif

Sexy mate, sexy! As the others said, take the spoiler off. Did that to mine and I think it will work spoilerless for awhile. BTW I got a 2 post spoiler if you want it. Was gonna use it once I get blocks but if you want it....

I have done this to mine, I just painted the inside first off though. I also get a nice darkish red light. I actually find its easier to red a map or text at night with the red light, because you eyes dont have to adjust so much to the light comming on and then adjust again to the light going off

I actually tried a JZA80 spoiler today. Went to the wreckers to just check the shape and size and it will fit on our hatch, just not in the stock spoiler positions. Has to go more towards the roof, so the actually back of the spoiler is level with the back of the hatch. It does sit on the right angle and everything though by the looks of it

Thanks for all the kind words!

So far there are no engine mods bar the minimal stuff like K&N filter and custom cat back zorst. Would love to turbo my 5SFE but no money to do that right now. I will take some of the inside on the weekend and post them up.

Well I have been lurking the forums for ages, and learnt a great many things here. So its about time I introduced myself and my celica.

I put the invader kit on myself, dont like the rear of the kit though. I did manage to find the rear extentions in a wreckers yard for $76US. I also have gone the spoilerless look, think its suits the car. The latest stuff is the GT4 hood I have been repairing, was in a slight fender bender but nothing to serious. Got that for $229US so I cant complain really, that also came with the st205 front bar, which was screwed but I wanted the centre intake. In the middle of painting that and the front bar again after molding the centre intake into it.

The best addition latley though as the upgrade to projectors and jdm tails. I was lucky enough to get them both at the same time. I was at the wreckers last friday and stumbled along a halfcut with the 4 projectors in it, talked the guy down to $305US for them (he didnt know what they were) and then I found the JDM tails as well. So all up for both the tails and projectors I payed $458US!

Anyways here are the pics

Yeah thats an Idea Shadow and K-ESD, maybe the globes were changed in the back before you bought it and some of the wires has become trapped between the frame and the light, creating the short. Try removing the light and see what the wiring is like.

Hi Hano, Definatly sounds like some kind of short, check your wires like playr said or take it to an auto sparky.

BTW, where in Oz are you? I am in Perth smile.gif

Yeah I think your right Coso. I was under the impression they are the rear fog lights, I am probably wrong though. I was trying to think logically about it to, would they just take a fuse out for us so that only one set of the lights work and not both?

Yeah I have seen a few of them here in Perth, nothing that special over the SX, just a few small things added in.

Yeah its supposed to come on when you turn the lights on, to replace it you got to take out the 2 screws near the shifter and the 2 bolts in the centre console compartment, then lift it up over the handbrake. The you can get the bulb enclosure out and replace it. I replaced mine with a bright green bulb, works well enough but will replace it in red later on to go with the rest of the inside. BTW the globe is the same size as the glovebox globe

Yep I have had this problem to, I went out with a girl I met on one of the celica cruises we had, we like each other straight away and we really hit it off. All was great, we were in love, went out together all the time, I treated her like a princess. Then one afternoon she seemed to get moody at me, after that it was never the same again. We were close on New years eve though (a week after the mood swing) then when I saw her online again she had had a falling out with one of her frineds over me and that was it. she, all of the sudden wanted to be friends. I couldnt do that after what we had been through and so I said no,I havent spoken to her since. I found that if I just went and worked on the celi, that cheered me up. I still miss her but I am happier now, I just say to myself, the girl I loved, went away after that first day she seemed to turn on me.
