Hi Kavar 505 nice to see someone else on here from Moscow !

I would never call Manta@ simple, but yes he has build this car in his rented double garage

The man just has unbelivable talant and skill...... exslucive body shops can do good work but sometimes are scared to be different....

Well, the cost so far will be partly covered by the future sale of my white GT 4

and the rest we be an arm and a leg, plus a lot of weekends in the office !!

But yeah the chance of owning the car blinded me to cost.... but she's soooooo worth it

Oh forgot to add....

we're gonna get a T3 / T4 turbo kit for her in a couple of months, and then probable re-map and boost controler, plus a re up-holter to the inside and a subtle music and dvd install

it's just a question of money

all the Praise goes to a guy on our fourm "Mant@" for his idea and design, she is just an amazing looking car and i'm so happy she's mine

As for photo's, hey it save's me posting them up, so no worries there.....

The project as never finished, we have plans for a rear bumper and feature arches on the back to match the front but not as wide, just to keep the look......

What is it? well it's a 95 GT Four with curren wings, custom hood, front bumper, front and rear lights.....
engin for now is still stock apart from front mounted cooler and blow off, i also have plans for a set of 245 - 45's on 18 rim's just got to fine the right ones......

hold the hill climb recold on the Pike Peaks hill climb, said to be toughest in the world

you don't say but it is a 3s g'T'e you have under the hood ??

the warning light thats coming on is not in my celica hand book (yes i got the users manual)
but i'm told it's you 'Cat' converter over heating!

this is cause from it getting dirty and clogged from sitting with the engine running......

only 205 dashboards have this lamp as i understand due to the extra heat from the engine in full boost

Answer take of your 'CAT' and get a straight though down pipe

your best bet would be to check out one of the GT 4 sites like www.gt4ec.net

Has anyone driven a RHD vehicle? I would think it would be hard as hell to drive, just the whole left hand shifting thing. I'm a right handed person, the way a person should be, so I think I'd struggle. It would seem weird making turns and just driving in general in the right seat on the right side of the road........



Hey right hand drive is the 'correct hand drive' as far as i'm consired and i'm damned if i can get on with a lift hooker even in a left hand drive road system !!!!!!!!

plus that how the celica and all Jap' cars where designed to be driven so your going for a pure breed )

yes mate right hand drive make very little difference in the long run, after a week you'll not evern notice the difference ( my wife went from a left hand drive to right hand drive and was cool in just 2 days!!!)

the whole reasion io got a celica is cause there special, and i love that most of the world don't seem to even consider them as anything more that just a perry looking car.......

the 3s gte on paper is one of the strongest and most flexable engines there is, and with the right mods done will on it's day kill all but the most powerfull 'lines'

we should just be glad a celicas not featured that much in the F & F films or every man and his dog would be wanting one

I totally agree, and i have a GT4......
and just because of the rarity value, i'll keep it, but the skyline is the man no question about that..

it cost me that for one tire !!!!!!!!!

1000 bucks a set and i only got 215-55-16 Goodyear or someting like that plus rim straighterning, balancing and fitting......
now i see how you guys can change tires and rims so often... and i thought it was cheap over here....

ok, so i'm no the hands on type anymore, but after 40,000 km i changed out my spark plugs on my '4'

hey fun striping of the top mounted intercooler

when i took the plugs out, even with the s%$& fuel over here i was happy with the even 'toast' brown colour they had burnt with

only problem i had was that when i pulled the leads of 2nd and 3rd plugs there was about an inch of oil showing on the lead ends!!!!! i moped it up with a rag and took the plugs out where i saw that the white bit was dis-coloured from being in oil a long time..........

1st and 4th where clean!!! no sign of oil on the header!!!!

does this mean my head gasget is gone or i have a bigger problem ???

new plugs are in, funs sweet and not smoking.......

any able to shed some light on this for me......

Hey fella i asked the same question a year ago......

i put the gutter in for the winter, i think a load of snow at -20 will be a problem !!!!!

but rain and washing is not an issue

in fact it looks damn good when you get a nice heat haze in the summer

an a mate of mine was well impressed to see his turbo gloing after a long had drive

Yes SS III only came in white !
and i thought there were only auto too, but i could be wrong on that point....
