Nice job on those mirrors! I really like the custom work you've put into the car and all the little touches. I can only imagine how many hours you have invested. |

Hey guys, I have a Pacesetter brand exhaust header for sale. It's part number 70-1155, 4-1 style. It's for the 3s-fe engine but I know it will also fit a 5s-fe. In fact I removed it from a 5s-fe when I got it. There is some mild surface rust but no dents. I don't have the downpipe or any gaskets for it. $60 obo ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hey guys, I have a spare hood from my 1999 GT in Alpine Silver. The paint is a bit faded but no big dents or scratches. It does have a few minor ripples but they are only visible from some angles. Some of the underhood bracing has come unglued from the main hood surface which is why I chose to get another one. Anyways it's not bad overall and for someone who wants to haul it away I will give it away. |

Mine was leaking when I bought the car and it would also drip out from around the sun visors when I came to a stop. I dropped the headliner and confirmed that my drain tubes were hooked up and working properly. For me it ended up being a leak through one of the square metal pieces that the screws go through from the top side. Those screws hold down the tracks for the sunroof and stuff. I sealed up the trouble spot with some RTV and things have been nice and dry ever since. |

How about an E46 M3? I don't have personal experience with them but it seems to fit what you're looking for and I've seen them in good shape with clean titles selling for mid-high teens. |

Really love the pattern and material that you did for the seat cover, it looks great! Personally I would have kept the separated headrest but that's really just a matter of opinion. Is there a reason that the material looks "looser" than the factory seat? Did you reuse the metal bars from the factory cover and stitch them into the underside of your covers and staple them back to the foam? Thanks. Yes indeed it is loose in some places. I used the original metal straps, but my cover was just not perfect replica of the old one and add to that a new headrest there were some imperfections. I may end up redoing in the future. I'll make sure I take more time with the driver's seat, but in the end it's my first time doing anything like this and I lack experience as a tailor. Certainly you're very talented and for just taking on these tasks you're doing a fantastic job. I'm sure you're learning more as you go along and it will just keep getting better and better! ![]() |

I ended up repairing my bumper and I think it will work. The only remaining part I need is the passenger side marker; someone must have one of these! Every time a car comes to the local junkyard its already missing the side markers. |

Haha, I was using pliers on the staples. I could only wish my fingers were strong enough to bend them by hand! ![]() Another question: after bolting the bottom piece back into the frame I noticed there is a gap of maybe an inch between the seat back and the seat bottom. I didn't really notice that before I started the recover so I was wondering if that's normal or not. There's really only one way to bolt the bottom in so I think I got it right. Anyone else have a gap there? |

Dang I feel like a moron, I didn't even think of using zip ties instead of the staples. That would make things a LOT easier! I was just so focused on trying to rebuild things exactly as they were that I wasn't thinking outside the box. I might use those on the 2nd seat, thanks for the suggestion. |

I received my covers last week and I'm in the middle of doing my front seats. It's definitely a bit more tricky of a job than I had imagined and dealing with those staples is a pain! My fingertips are hurting, lol. Anyways, I have a couple of questions: 1. On the seat bottoms, the factory covers have some side flaps that wrap down around the frame and each flap had 2 staples in it. The new covers have the flaps but no plastic piece or fitting for a metal bar so basically there is no way to staple those back to the frame. Should there be anything else there? 2. On the seat back at the very bottom rear where the bar threads through, the factory cover has a dedicated fabric channel for the bar that is underneath the outer material. The new cover just has a channel directly in the end of the outer material. This works, but requires poking the staples through the outer material and it tears a bit around them. Just wondering if this is also normal or if there's another way I should be doing it. I can take pictures if this is confusing..it's a little hard to describe. Thanks. |
