Hi - I have a few questions - I currently have my car on ramps, the rack housing was not allowing me to pull the rear mount out, I tried raising the engine with a hydraulic jack and could not get the what seemed like a quarter inch needed to remove the rear mount so I cut the bolts. I was trying to slip the crossmember in like the video and just do not have the clearance. I notice in the video that he car is sitting on jack stands - is that buying you more space by chance? The engine moves freely I see held by the 2 other mounts. I have not disconnected the exhaust or B pipe. Can anyone give me some advice before I get a mechanic to stop by... At this point I would like to win this confrontation... thanks in advance. I did the post about dropping the sub frame ... never done ... I would prefer not to.. |

it does not include torque, but this is no cheating video either, no crops, or alterations..... Its proven, i did it 3 times in a row. Basically see the video... laugh, enjoy.... the car was on jack stands, to allow me to crawl underneath, and engine was being hold by the side mounts... Key word is look at the angle i have the mount, and i try to slide the cross-member almost horizontally... ![]() and for all you haters out there i still have 1 hour and 58 minutes to drink my smoothie... |
