Sadly, I've done this, it gives me a few different options through wikipedia. |

I had a Silvertop swap that I ended up not using. The person that bought it didn't want the auto transaxle. The part number is mostly scratched off of the sticker... ![]() I'm mostly looking for compatibility. Is it a 3 or 4 spd? Will it mate and work with your regular USDM 4afe auto (corolla/prism/celica 1.6L). Thank you in advance! Daniel I ask this here since I know a lot of you deal with the swaps and probably have more knowledge than some of the other forums. |

I'm assuming this is the most fitting section to put this in: If you own one or know of someone that does, I'm in Scotland right now and it's been a dream of mine to be in one of these beauties tearing up a road or two. I'd pay for gas (petrol) for such an excursion. I'm not asking to drive it (though I DO have my IDP so it would be legal on my end...). I have a love for these that goes very deep, I bought a ST185 only because I couldn't buy a ST205 in the states. If you're interested, just pm me and I'll bend over backwards to get wherever you are. I'll be spending time in Dundee and Skye over the next few weeks with a trip to Ireland somewhere in there. Thanks! Daniel |

Well, I got one from somebody, but he photoshoped out the vin # and changed some others around, all I needed was the plate to start processing some info for importation. If somebody does have emissions info on thier's it would be great (perferably stock...I know it's more difficult to keep one stock...). Thanks for the reply anyways |

I have read a deal of material on this and I just want to check things out. If it even exists, I want a pic or the info off of the door and under the hood labels. Also, if you have had your car through any kind of emissions testing, I need/want the results. I might-maybe-hopefully have a way to LEGALLY import a 6th gen gt-4 to the us, otherwise time to buy a junker gt and have some fun with #'s. I really, really don't need people telling me it can't be done or isn't cost worthy, i've read it a thousand times. Thanks so much, Daniel P.S. It would be a nice upgrade from my '93 st |
