Well motor number two went in the celi and after many hours and attempts at fixing the crank and rods it has all proven to be futile. Milage isn't overly important under 120K would be nice but will consider others. Need to get the celi back up tho cuz its my daily driver and using my dad's car is gettin old. Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks
Eric

where about in jersey are you, i'm in eastern PA and would be willing to work on it. Let me know what kit you plan on getting and i'll give you an idea of how hard its going to be to put on.

From personal experience, I have 2 kicker L7 12s which last season consistently destroyed a guy with 2 audiobahn 15s. I competed with SLAP and I can post the event standings to prove this. These subs sound good in ported box and are loud as hell. But overall it is personal preference because any setup can sound good with the right amp, sub, and box combo.

Check the cap and rotor, odds are there's corrosion on the cap if there was corrosion on the plug wires. Also the rotor shoud prolly be replaced while you have the cap off.

My car does the same thing. I was told by a transmission shop that most likely the synchros are getting worn and they're a pain to replace. Only other option is to take it somewhere to have it rebuilt or get a new tranny.

I agree, definately sounds like a rod bearing. I've heard that sound a few too many times. I'm willing to bet its prolly on number 1 rod cuz that seems to be the first to go but make sure to check all bearings.

Check the carrier bearings on your axles. I had this problem with around 120K miles on my original axles. You'll see the mount where your axle runs from the tranny to the hub. If there is any play in it at all your best bet is to replace it before it breaks because the axle will come out if you let it go long enough
