Ok I don't really know for sure if my motor's shot because it clicks and pushes the window up, but going down it does nothing... Could my motor be shot one way?

You would probably need high torque linear actuators to lift the lid AND a sub+box.

Doubt you would find any boot strutts powerful enough to hold it all up TBH. My bootlid closes itself if the wind catches my spoiler and both strutts are working correctly.

Just my opinion though, maybe someone will contradict.

Subs work best when they are securely mounted, so I also think it may sound a bit bab being stuck to the lid.

Agreed... First the linear actuators would be expensive.

Second, think about the vibration your going to put on your hatch, you know what nevermind the hatch think of the glass! I bet it wouldnt last too long.

OMG! Funny story (not to jack ur thread or anything)... so it's been about a week or so since my car has been out of the body shop, last nite I jumped in the car to go DJ. Bitch wouldn't start... it's dark, I have no time to mess with it so I take my girls Prelude to work cursing and swearing on the drive... Get up this morning searching all over the car cant find crap, check the fuses, check everything so I'm getting really mad... i'm about to replace the starter when I notice one of my wires from the battery is just laying their disconnected... when they replaced my battery at the shop they forgot to tie it down so it was moving all over and loosened the wire...

Anyway... I wound up chuckling for a good 1/2 hour knowing that it was just a wire and not more money out of my pocket...

Heh, I worked at a audio shop for 2 years in NY, whom the owner has won many pro iasca trophies and we never used the wheel well... it's a good idea... i would'nt say the "RIGHT WAY" but if it works it works.

Incidentally rule of thumb, always run your power wire away from your signal... i.e; power wire ran thru driver side door sill and signal wire (rca), speaker on the passenger side... illiminates alot of noise this way.

8 speaker (1 tweeter in each mirror triangle, 2 in each door (4"and 6.5"), 1 in each rear panel)
IPB Image

actually in the premium audio package the doors house 8" drivers, some models such as the Kicker SSMB8's will not fit the bracket perfectly, thus require some modifications

Damn I want those door panels they look so ummm NEW!!! =)

I used regular paint for my plastic pieces all you need to do is spray a couple of mist coats over the plastic after you finish your cleaning steps.

Spray a couple of mist coats once each dries spray normally.
