Ok, what do you guys think?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-93-TOYOTA-CELIC...=item53f23be237

This says it's for the convertible, but in the description, it says the part # is 52023-20280, which is for the hatchback... the coupe one is 52023-20290. The seller just keeps telling me it only fits 90-94 coupe/convertible.

I'm really needing one for my coupe and this is a great price. Go for it?

Any idea how much longer? Id the reinforcement is 1/2" or less shorter, I don't think it'll be an issue since it'll all be covered up anyways. Might make the rear bumper skin bolt holes not line up though...

Have you guys ever compared the rear bumpers of the coupe/vert vs the liftback?

I'm trying to buy a rear bumper reinforcement for my 95 gt coupe. I've found some for about $60 shipped on eBay, and the description says it's for a coupe/convertible, but the p/n is 52023-20280.

From my research, 20280 is for the liftback and 20290 is for the coupe.

Most of the aftermarket websites I've found list the 20280 as the correct fitment for the coupe, but Toyota parts diagrams list 20290 as correct for the coupe.

Are they the same with different part numbers?! Or maybe is the difference so slight that they can be interchanged?!

This is confusing!

According to this, the years should be right.

Ok, so further research tells me that coupe and convertible rear bumper reinforcements are the same for 90-99? Can anyone confirm that?

And I think this thread can get me started with the brakes.

I have a gt coupe with a trunk. It's got a rather rusty rear bumper support. What other bumper supports will fit? Convertible? Hatchback?

Also, is it just bolted through where it slides into the rear of the frame?

My parking brake also does not work. I can't seem to find the diagram that I've seen referenced in another post. Any help would be appreciated.
