p.s. - Kalokb -- if there is any confusion.. i did not , by any means, try to screw you over. or try to run off with the money and the lights. i want to resolve this issue just as much as you do -- the right way.

what kind of body kit is that?... where did u get t?.. how much did it cost u?

do u guys get alot of ash on the dash when u smoke...

i do.. and soimetimes the ash dosnt even go out the window all the way and just flys ariund in your face...

yeah i smoke in my celica too..

i just installed my jdm tail lights.. but the back-up lights dont work
--i dont think they worked with my original ither.
are there any fuses for the backup lights?

also... my eBreak light isnt workin... any idea on this?..

and my cruise control is blinking...
i did reposition it when i installed my CAI... and worked fine for about 2 weeks..
now it just blinks... any ideas?

i have the alpine iva-d901 (quite possibly THE best in dash dvd player there is )

but neways... yeah... there is a green wire right under my e-brake.. so all i need to do is geound that wire and ill be good to go?.. ill just ground it to the cigarete lighter if thats the case...

edit - when im parked and put the e brake down -- it works , but once i pull it up.. it dosnt..

i think the green wire is the ground

ok.. well i tried to out indiglo gauges in last night.. (was reading thr how to)

but then when it came time to take the pry the lil black thing over the gauges... i got scard and stoped..

i tried to pry it... with a screwdriver... a knife.. cardboard..

but it wouldnt come out... and i was kinda scard to pull them too hard..

sooOOoOOOOOo... how hard are you suppose to pull in these lil suckers?... i felt like i was gonna break mine...

i just installed an in dash dvd (professionally)..

but the guy who installed it said that its illeagle for them to NOT install the safty feature ... the one where you cant watch dvds while driving...

so... i was wondering if any of you guys knew how to disable the feature..

i know it has to do something about grounding a wire out.,.. but how?

i could take out the head liner....

take off the fabric that was on it... buy some black fabric at a fabric store...

and then just spray adheisve on the new fabric..

hey... i bought those taillights!!!!!... but the price for them... yes i know they are...... just a tad higher than what other people paid.. ... but i really wanted them.. and i could afford an extra 80 buck to buy these tails.. but anyways... yeah i did buy them...

kinda of funny you brought this up as im going to see the judge on may 5th for a speeding ticket..

i was going 94 on a 55...
i got away with just a 385 dollar ticket considering how fast i was going..

but my advice.. when u go to court... do dress nice, and on time...
and when its your turn to go up (from past experences, there will be a lot of people waiting to see the judge)... just act yourself...

dont try to say something that will make you look like your full of crap..

i remember i went to a judge once, and some guy made up some stupid story that hi speedometer was broken and he didnt know he was going 112 MPH, on a bike.

be polite, and say 'yes, your honor' after she tells you something or you tell her something..

since this is your first offence... the judge will probally give you the option of going to traffic school, if not, request it.. something like 'i would also like to know ifi would be eligible for traffic school, your honor'.. traffic school will take your points of your driving record... and the insurance company only looks at your driving record... so youll be good with insurance...

keep in mind tho... your records will show that you got a ticket. for up to 5 years (in CA anyways) .. not your driving record... just your record.. and insurance companies wont look at that...


also.. if you cant afford the whole ticket at once... also ask the judge if you can pay the fine in installments... most of the time the judge will give you a price to pay per month... if you still cant pay it... tell her that you cant... explain why....and request a lower installment for a longer term..

if youre polite... then most of the time they will give it to you...

well thats all i can think of right now...
i hope this helps a lil... by the way.. im an MP.. so i know a lil bout the system (not a whole lot.. but enough) ... that got cought speeding in the celi

im thinking about putting a new engine in my car also.. in the next couple months...

if your willing to spend around 450 - 750 dollars... u could get a 3sge engine with 145 - 170 hp (depending on block head) .. the 3sgte would cost uy about a grand more but will give u 240 hp..

as for the a seris engine.. i dont know where u could get those... but i hope this helps!

i was going to put some aftermarket foglights too... i have the stock ones... but i want to change them...

is there any way i could just hook up the aftermarket ones to the stock electrical harness (so i could use the swicth for the stock fogs) ?

i just put my CAI in my celica too...
it does make a kinda loud straw sucking sound -- almost like a vacum tune..

hey king.. what kind of cold air intake did u get?... did u have to relocate any thing?
