Ah right. Well I own a performance parts and fabrication business, so I may make a set for myself, and if there is interest I can make some more!

I've already bought it, it was only £30 so it doesnt matter if I have to modify it to fit!

Where did you get your spoiler raisers - they are lower than the GT4 ones? Custom?

Hi Guys,

I've managed to get hold of a supra rear wing for a price I couldn't refuse. Has anyone else fitted one of these to their Celica? I know it will need a bit of work to get it to fit, but just interested to see if anyone else has done it!

Cheers!

I've really just bought it to use over winter, but I like them so much I think I will end up keeping it.

Plans are - new exhaust system, 40mm lowering springs and some new wheels.

Hi Guys, I've been on this forum before with a previous gen 6, that i had about a year ago.

Turns out I can't get away from Celicas, and bought this one for £450 - It's got full toyota service history going back the past 20 years!

Anyway, here are some photos of it!

So far i've tinted the headlights and put an induction kit on it.

Sorry for the bad photos - they were taken in the dark on a phone!!

Right, Its about time i gave you guys some updates!! The car is all one colour again, its just needs polishing to get it shining the same as the rest of the car, but I will do this on saturday.

Here are some pics of the car as it stands!

Got a bit of overspray on the rear bumper, but I will polish that off!

Also tinted my headlights yellow, but ran out of film to do the fogs! So I need to order some more!

You can barely see the dent now, and if you didnt know it was there i dont think you would notice!!

Let the real modding commence!

If I was hazard a guess it will be that it's mapped to a higher grade fuel.

I did think it may be something to do with the map, or maybe it has different cams?

This may be a noob question, but what makes the JDM SS-2 (3sge) model more powerful than the UK GT model with the same engine?

Cheers!!

a quick question, it has 195/50/15 tyres on the front and 205/55/15 on the rear, which is the correct size for the car??

Factory fitment is 205/55R15 smile.gif

Nice one thanks, I will get a pair for the front then and have them all matching! Another question! How do you remove the front bumper, is it and easy job?

Should be spraying it the same colour as the rest of the car on wednesday evening, and I will get some photos once its done smile.gif Here it is as it stands now....Look, no dent!!

Here's a photo of its good side! I've photoshopped it to be lowered about 40mm. I should be buying the springs in the next month!

Hi guys, im quite new here, so im not sure if this has been covered already (probably has)!

I have superstrut suspension, and my front right side suspension is knocking, but it only does it when i am going very slowly (1st gear and the start of second). Could this mean that the figure 8 needs replacing (from what i have read this is a common part to fail?)

Cheers

Thanks! the bodywork is coming along nicely, hoping to have it finished this weekend! Engine runs sweet, its only got 82,000 miles on it, for a 20 year old car that isnt bad!

The only issue ive found with it is the suspension is knocking from the front drivers side. it only does it at really low speed, any ideas? its got superstrut, so maybe the figure 8 needs replacing from what ive read?

Hi Guys, just thought I'd share my project with you all! I have a 1994 JDM SS-II, its got superstrut suspension, and an LSD!

I managed to save this car from the scrapyard, as my friend had it, then a wall fell on it whilst it was parked up, and the insurance company wrote it off. They paid him off and gave him the car back. He needed the space so I said I'd have it, and he gave it to me!!

I've now started the process of fixing the massive dent in the side of the car. I know its never going to be perfect, but the car was free and i'm making good progress with the repair!

This is how it was to start with (i'd pushed a lot of the dent out from the inside, but the whole panel was caved in!)

I then took all the paint off around the surrounding area (i thought to myself what have I done!! )

Then the filling/skimming started!

Pretty please with the shape of the panels now

Then it got a bit late, so I put some primer on it to protect it a bit until next weekend when it should be finished off and painted!!

Thats all for now!

I've got a few more plans for the car, such as an exhaust system, induction kit and lowering, but that will have to wait until I have finished the bodywork!

thanks for looking!

Sam!
