Nice Beams you got there what kind of air filter are you using?

Hi, 1soljaslim5, i use BMC CDA carbon specific for Celica 3SGE.

It's very good as airbox and it's cleanable, but it's a little expansive (255 euro + 20 euro cleaner kit ,bought 2 years ago)

And of course, i changed Beams air hose (that 90° Beams stock elbow with resonator) with a blue silicon elbow high quality hose (50 euro)

It works very very well wink.gif

Where did you get this air hose? Mine broke and there are none in the scrap yards ):

Hi Staerkeste!!!

I buy this hose from a factory near to my hometown, it's very cheaper (about 40-50 euros but i have always discount price there) and it's made with a high quality silicon and you can choose 3 colors: red,blue black.

If you need one i can buy and send you.

Serve only measures inside / outside of the throttle body and length.

Which car do you own? gt4? gt? beams?

Do you have special sensors to probe what part of the incoming air? a MAF?

If you give me the right information, help me to send you the perfect hose!

The last thing i must do is, find a good ECU, as Vipec or Apexi Power F.C. and the game will be finished!!

If someone knows where i can buy one of these, i'll be very grateful...and of course i'll send a box of hi-quality beers to someone who helps me smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif

Now with Toora wheels and Snowmaster tyres.

I used the film spray Foliatec , but the result was not what I wanted (in spot, it's too simple, but in real...mmhhh).... for now ..... I left this color but in spring,I'll repaint with airbrush and paint ... maybe a good quality of goldpaint for next winter!!

i dont care for the bumper, but the engine bay looks awesome......for a BEAMS smile.gif

Thanks Smaay !!!

Honestly, I spent more time cleaning the engine compartment (which really was not that dirty, but even though I run with rain, snow, ice, dust and mud, my car is always clean wink.gif ) and repaint with matt-black high temperature ink, that's much better than other paint.

For sure, JapmanDan, if you post me here, precise measurements of all the hoses that you need, from those I can tell you the total expenditure.
of course I do it selflessly, in the sense that I'll send you the stuff without gaining.

I try this stuff, and i'm very satisfied wink.gif

Hello,
I have found a company, not far from home that produces them in high quality silicone blue, all other colors are of poor quality.
I put a 45 degree bend on the throttle body of my Beams thus eliminating even the resonator with the BMC CDA airbox, is useless.

Here's the picture :

In this period, i must change all the hoses (air and water) with a blue silicon high quality, because i found a factory here, that they produce all this things for rally championship(rally hoses oil,air,water, all type of clutches, spacers and more)...and they're cheaper (because before selling their products, put the mold with the name of the company to which they provide the details ... for example: Samco, Sparco,Omp etc) than everywhere but the quality remains unchanged wink.gif

Thanks for the advice Rusty!

Obviously I know that everything would cost ... but the money is not a problem ... the only problem is that here in Italy .... not familiar with the celica ... figured engines Beams: D

For this I registered on 6GC, surely you are much more than any enced mechanic here in the area.

I've heard that on Beams use the Apexi Power FC

I have the oem air box now. Regarding your wiring question I wish I could help u more, maybe someone else can chime in

Thank you, but if you have already the older adapter maybe you can give me the right measure of that.
As the following picture:

because without that measure, i can't create an adapter that i need to start up my car.
the big problem is, i have a track day 1°st november and i need my car ready in safe mode.
So, if someone have this measure, please give it to me.

Thank you in advance

Hi,I'm doing the same job for the MAF sensor, I might have precise measurements of the adapter that you built?

HI guys,

i'm an St202 3SGE 3SGE 3rd gen happy italian owner since 2 weeks.
i've bought a 3SGE Beams Red Top to swap into my car.
So, I'd like to have some help about some plugs' pins I have on Beams Red Top loom and not in ST202 car loom, and viceversa.

In particular I'd like to know where the following wires go to:

EA1 beams plug:
- white/black wire (bridged to the other white/black - correct?) -> no wire in the car's plug
- light green wire -> no wire in the car's plug
- big black/red wire -> no wire in the car's plug
- black wire -> black/orange in car's plug

Light grey beams plug:
- pin 5 black wire - no wire in 3sge 3rd gen plug
- pin 1 brown wire - no wire in 3sge 3rd gen plug

Dark grey beams plug:
- pin 1 no wire -> white/blue wire in 3sge 3rd gen plug
- pin 7 yellow wire -> no wire in 3sge 3rd gen plug
- pin 8 white/blue -> no wire in 3sge 3rd gen plug
- pin 9 grey wire -> no wire in 3sge 3rd gen plug
- pin 15 brown wire -> no wire in 3sge 3rd gen plug

White beams plug:
- pin 14 no wire -> light yellow/red wire in 3sge 3rd gen plug

Thanks
