ive found a nice 1994 gt with sunroof and leather interior.
it got some custom work like muffler, jdm tails and a new brake system.
Of what ive seen from the car so far its in great condition and well taken care of.

more info to come

just get a Greddy SP2 cat-back and dont worry about welding etc

aah, nice that i can order these premade so i can just bolt it in place...Thats appreciated by a noob like me smile.gif
But is there any soundclips available with a SP2 on a 6th gen so i can hear what they sound like?
And where would be the best and cheapest place to order for someone who lives in sweden? (dont wanna get ruined at shipping)

hows that sound? its not real loud, but noisier than stock.

i like the sound, especially the idle sound, but wont that be a pain to drive in highway at 3-4k rpm for a while?

Can someone please tell me what a resonator is? Is it an addon component or is it allready installed on the stock system?

ive searched a little and found these clips...they pretty much sum up how id like my exhaust to sound.
Will the muffler be enough to get this sound?

I guess most of you ppl is getting sick of all the magnaflow "uuuh what muffleer should i get" posts going around here but i AM a total noob to all of this so im gonna have to start one more of them.

So if i have the stock exhaust mounted, and exchange the muffler to the one above, will i get that deep and agressive sound i love and want, yet without making the car too noisy? (i wanna be able to talk inside the car while driving)

That is, if using the stock exhaust with the above muffler = deep sweetness OR waste of money?

So, from 94-99, was there any significant changed made to the interior of the celica? Any changes at all?

well im kind of sad to say this deal is off...
Áll in all i think its still a great deal, even with the work that has to be done to it..

But ive decided to put more effort into selling my current car first and then looking for a deal thats a little closer to home so i can actually drive the car before i make up my mind. I dont wanna travel through the entire country only to find that i dont wanna buy it =/

So, im still not a 6 gen owner...Keep your thumbs crossed for my continueus car hunt.

its gonna be roughly 3000USD for the car, which is a 1994 GT with leather, AC, ABS, AIRBAGx2 and it has rolled just under 100 000km

ill have to add the cost of a new door, front fender and total repaint of the car, which i dont have total costs for yet, but at least ill get to choose what color i want my car =)

yeah, ive heard how expensive things are in norway...
but then again, ive heard your earn alot more in salary then we do so i guess it evens out =)

A lttle update:

I finally got in touch with the guy and just yesterday he went into a waterslide and trashed the right side of the car.
According to him, the right door and right front fender will have to be replaced, while the right backside of the car probably can be fixed fairly cheap. Other then that, according to him, the car is in wonderful shape.

He has instantly dropped the price another 10k swedish crowns (about 1400USD) and i suspect ill be able to talk him down further some if i actually go meet him.

On sunday im gonna get a bunch of images of the car and its damages so then ill know if its worth even bothering. Im allready looking through the junkyards for a replacement door and fender, and ill have to check what its gonna cost me to repair the rear side of the car AND a repaint.

Ill keep you updated, but if everything works out as planned, ill have this baby back on the road in notime, looking better then ever =)

Hi guys.

In preperation for getting a 6th gen celi, i bought Chiltons 94-99 celica handbook.
When it arrived i noticed it was only for "all US and Canadian models of celica" and inside i found info for 1.8 and 2.2l engines.

The car im going to buy (here in Sweden) will be a 2.0l engine.
Will the handbook still be applicable to my car, or is there big diffrences between the american 2.2 model and the european 2.0 model?

The celica im thinking about buying (1994 GT 2.0) has a busted rightside fender which will need to be replaced.
Is there any place online with decent prices on this part that ships to europe?

http://www.traderamotor.com/showObject.aspx?id=327691

Here is the ad. One of the images shows the damage done by the garageport, but as he said he would have it fixed for an additional 1500 swedish crown (200 usd) it shouldnt be any problems.

So whatya guys think? If i do get the loan through next week, should i go and pick this baby up? (after a closer examination in person of course)

i found a movie clip where someone drove a mazda with a magnaflow muffler with resonator..

The sound was exactly what i was looking for (though i couldnt make out if it might have been too loud or not).

But what is a resonator? and where should i order a magnaflow muffler and resonator for a 1994 celica?
