QUOTE(soulshadow @ Oct 4, 2005 - 2:18 PM) If its shaking like crazy its your timing. true if you take your timing light and set it to 14 degrees the timing mark should be on zero.... a steady zero... now i had a problem with that, i found out that i had a worn timing belt because when i took the timing light and pointing it to the mark i notice it jumping from 0 degrees to 5 degrees... basically it just wasn't a steady reading. Dont listen to anyone if they say it does that because of a misfire. So then i replaced the timing belt and now its hitting directly zero and the idle got a little better. Now Im not the greatest mechanic, but i know a little. Just try that out. |
