Doing fine thanks.

AFAIK head is the same. Cams are different, suprisingly more agressive on the 3SGE, Inlet manifold, fuel rail, injectors all different. Top cover is the same. Call me if you need anything.

Are you turboing a 3sge? I've been long thinking of doing it but I have no time.

Thanks I figured that out, is there a way to go lower? for safety reasons until it can be tuned properly?

Hi guys, I am collecting part to turbo my 3s-ge, have my manifold and CT26 already plus map sensor. Ordered the fuel pump and still looking for rx7 460cc injectors, 2mm head gasket and SAFC. Intercooler, gauges etc, well still some way to go.

However there is one question in my head I need to ask. I want to boost this at 7psu max, how do I limit the CT26 to boost 7psi? Any ideas please.

Would it be a safe bet to start by replacing the rear engine mounting?

Hi Guys,
I have a strange noise coming from the left front corner. It happens when mostly when I turn to the right, but also when I go straight and go over a speed bump for example. The most interesting thing is that when I turn and release the clutch (putting the engine under load) the noise goes away. When I turn with the clutch engaged or no gear (no load) the sound is there again.

First I thought it was a CV, or bearing or the usual stuff so I jacked up the car. With the front wheels off and the ebrake on I put it in revense and release the clutch slightly to put it under load and there is the noise again. It sonds like its coming from the gearbox, or dirve shaft area.

I replaced a cv boot lately and had to take out the drive shaft. I had put it back in without replacing the spring washer that is on the drive shaft end in the gearbox. Could this be the cause of everything? Do you know if there should be some shaft play in and out of the gearbox? nothing major just a couple of millimeters.

PLEASE HELP GUYS. Thanks

Please let us know how it goes. YOu could make a fortune if you could have sets made and shipped over to us. I think most of us would be interested if the price is right. I'm in!

Its nice smile.gif SSIII Extensions are sweet and i like the setup with your black wheels smile.gif
Any thoughts for removing the net that its inside the front bumper?

I could not stand the orange lenses, but I cannot do the clears myself although I tried several times. They never come quite right. Anyway the left one gives additional nice fresh air to the air filter. wink.gif

looks sweet, my celi is due it's respray now so was thinking a silver, either your shade or a kinda titanium grey, you just made my mind up! Would u have the paint code? it's a standard celica colour isn't it? Goes really well with the black wheels!
In ireland the beams 3s-ge is getting as common as muck..near enough every celica...me tho..can't afford the beams so i just got the norm 3sge!! I still love it tho smile.gif

I think there is not much difference between the two. I'd like to try/race one but there is none on the island. In my opinion the 3s-ge is the perfect toyota n/a. Yamaha did a great job with the head.

I have a set of Tanabe Coilover Sustec Pro S-0C installed. I Beleive the spring rates are 8.0 / 6.0 F/R.

Do you think if I buy and install lower rate springs I can get a better (less hard) ride without compromising too much handling? I think the ride is too hard for everyday use.
