the front loom controls the fans, airbag sensor, horn, headlights maybe?
No i dont have the fender emblems, doors, fluid tanks

you did an awsome job. good decsion finding a rear hit car! now take that wireloom that got cut and replace it from the parts car. thing with airbag systems if you just fix the wiring you run the risk of corrision getting in there and shorting out the system which may result in an airbag deployment which obviously could be very harmfull to your person. so becarefull and make sure to swap that out. and good luck and more pics!

but,NH has a stupid emissions law so if I get caught with a turbo in a non turbo car...or with a motor swap... I will fail my inspection...

actully no you wont as long as your car passes the OBDII scan and safety it will be fine. i used to live in NH

i would, but i want my interior stock looking again..i dont wanna go with the painted interior

They make a product called trim black it is a semi gloss black and generaly matches well the semi gloss look of the plastic. so if you really could mold that in and have it look factory if you wanted to.
and as far as what is in the box i have no idea......its gotta be something cool espically if it is on par with everything else you have done.

wouldn't it be cheaper in the long run to just buy a T3/T4 from blast themselves? cause you have to figure the ebays cost 150-175+shipping then 250+50 for the rebuild your at about 500 and these guys sell them for 475 i think i am just gonna look into that when i turbo my car. if i don't have the money for the gen III in time

cant even get oem wires for that. so no "should have got oem wires" bashing.

Gonna do it anyway! should have gotten OEM wires. but to back up that statement here is "you get what you pay for!" biggrin.gif

my favorite quote from when i had my Supercharged IS

Friend: So how much fun is that car

Me: about 9MPG worth

so yeah everything is dependant on the go stick. but you can't have a fast car and never get into it. that wouldn't be any fun would it!

i didn't downgrade m8 , Desmond was a GT with the GT4 front end biggrin.gif

The plan is to put a GT4 front end on the new one, i already have a bumper but its sitting in Middlesbrough and im finding it a tad hard in getting it up here to Scotland, i plan on fixing the bonnet that was damaged on Desmond, don't now if i will manage it but as there worth a few pennys its worth giving it a go.

Kev

That hood is junk all the under bracing is buckled. you'll never get the line of the hood to meet up correctly that and the underside will always have the crease from were it was buckled. but more power to you if you want to try it.
Just wait the white looks amazing with the GT4 front your opnion will change very quick on the white. granted your previous car looked amazing but this one will look just has good if not better! good luck keep taking pics and enjoy it!

this car is awsome between dustin manny jeff and jeremy they have built one clean 6th gen. this car is violent! but the best part is the open dump tube how ever annoying makes the most violent agressive sound i have ever heard from a turbo car! not my cup of tea for everyday use but awsome none the less. awsome work guys. shannon you are getting one hell of a car!

well just cause you checked it doesn't mean there arn't shavings in the pan and from the sounds of it you did some damage to them doesn't take much to do so takes mabye 40 mins to remove the pan and its a piece of mind if you find nothing. but like manny said check the T-belt

sounds like you did some damage. low oil would cause the motor to run hotter but at that point the bearings would have a lot of wear on them if not destroy. i say check if the t-belt broke or slipped teeth like manny said and if that is in order pull the pan and check the bearing and see if there are heavy metal fragments in the bottom. and you wouldn't hear it knock untill the car actully starts. least in my experence.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys..this by far has to have been the best CSP meet ever. sadly that was the first and last meet for that IS300. i am so very happy to have it effect so many people soon jeff is gonna send me or link me to said video of taking off down the parking lot at WOT. oh and were is the picture of jeff passing off loudest car title to me. there was nothing better then taking manny, jenn and his nephew down the highway at about 130 and getting back to his mothers house and having people ask if we just flew by biggrin.gif. the car makes me smile and these meets really make my day/weeks/months/year even though i dont even own a celica. i am accepted with more then open arms and you guys make me feel like family and for that i thank you. i have been under more stress then humanly should be allowed and i was not has happy as i could be and this meet more then pulled me out of it. for all that showed up and made it such a great meet thanks. and i hope all of you new faces become old because this meet was truly awsome.
