Try this thing http://gator-grip.com/ They used to have infomertials on tv for it and the first thing I thought of when I saw it is it would be great for stealing rims (If you into that kinda thing). It will supposidly conform to any kind of shape by compressing small pins inside of the socket. Two questions though.

1. Will it fit around you lugnut?

2. Do you have deep socket rims (Socket might not fit inside the rim itself)

Also, I think I know what kind of key you are talking about but can be positive with out seeing it. Auto zone sells a cheep rim socket lock set that only has one key for all the lock nuts thay produced (Pretty pointless) But if your lucky and that is the set then you can buy the set for like 15 bucks and use the key.

Yep, I just looked further into the web site and it said that it will remove most lugnut locks just as long as the outside diamator isnt round. I would buy this thing and give it a try.

kinda off topic but where did you have them done?

Had them done at an upholtsery shop near me. Forgot the name of the company, but if you want I can find out for you. They were professionally done and I was very happy with the job they did. Would deffinatly recomend them.

Off topic:
I really do hope that someone who will really appreciate theis seats gets them. (Someone from this site). They are very nice and well taken care of. Its a shame they wont fit in my new car. The seats really bring the car together more than you would think. I got lots of complements on them at car shows.

nice seats...
off topic, but do ppl ever get into trouble by making their shippings cost a ridiculous amount so that ebay cant take commission off of it?

Yea, sorry. Shipping is out of my hands. I brought it to one of those ebay stores that all seem to be springing up everywhere. They make up all the shipping prices. But also, I guess that might even be somewhat reasonable for shipping due to the fact of weight and size. It did take me like four trips to bring all the seats in to the store and the front seats are kinda heavy.

I had the same problem. I think you have to take off the whole dash and get it from behind. But I could be wrong. Get some more suggestions first.

i say grow urself a mullet and buy a trans am.........

i think u need to read how a turbo works and wut are the pros and cons on going turbo. like you said u arent very knowlegable on teh engine aspect on cars so, before u do any of those i suggest you go research, cos alot of things can go wrong with force induction.jus my 2 cents

I already have a mullet and my trans am is currenty on blocks in my front lawn. Cant get the wheels on cause the grass is over the fenders ya'll....... Yea but pretty much thats what im doing now is learning before I'm doing. Not completly but enough to get me started and then I learn as I go along.

QUOTE(Symbiote5S-FE @ Oct 20, 2006 - 9:27 PM)

wow! so you would spend more money on doing the 5SFTE instead of just the 3SGTE engine swap?

Well thats what I'm asking you guys lol.

Also, do you think it would be more cost effective to but shin's celica already turboed for $7000. Factoring in cost of a new car, a turbo kit, labor, and hassel of getting the work done. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=41683&st=0

buy a 5th gen alltrac. your budget is too small to do a swap while having to pay laybor costs.

X2.
unless your installing everything yourself. a turbo is gonna totally max that budget out, too.

Oh really, how much would a turbo go for incuding EVERY part I would possibly need. (not including labor) And can I turbo the engine with oh say 1K miles on it with out rebuilding the engine or doing any prep work to it, or will it blow up?

Yea 5th gen is out of the question. I've already fallen in love with the 6th gen. Oh man, those curves get me excited lol.
