The Will looks kinda like a next variant Matrix. Does look better that what they've got now. With some redesigns to the rear I'd take one. Time will tell.

if it costs that, it will be crap. probably naturally aspirated with a v6. Probably more a 'looker' than a real performer. When the rx7/supra/skyline was first made they all costed around $60k, they lost money on them but they made them to cause pride in the brand. Now car companies are targeting a different market sector.
sell.

How many sports cars do you see for sell in the $60K range in the US today. Very few. For that you can get a fairly well off Corvette and.... In the $30K range you have the 350Z, RX8, S2000, Evo, WRX STi, Mustang Cobra.... All have been well acclaimed for their performance/value. The Days of the $60k+ sports cars are over for the time being. The people that can afford them go for Porche and Vette which they can get for a bit cheaper, or they jump to the $100K+ mark.
Sorry to kill any dreams of a sub 100K super car, but those days are over. I think we can live with vehicles in the 300-400hp range for a while.

For $2000, you can just register it leagally after you have it here. As long as you have the orginial title from where its from. At least thats the way it is here in CT. Check out your local DOT/DMV.

The AWD turbo Matrix is a 3sgte

not in the US

True. But they do sale 4WD versions in the US today, and you can get turbos through TRD specifically for them. Looks like they're leaning that way.

also many of the people on the site say they feel betrayed by toyota. However if youre a company like toyota would you create a car in order to get teenagers happy about it who cant really afford it? The GT4 in the uk was priced at £30000, can anyone here afford to spend even $30000 on a car? as far as the supra goes that would cost anywhere between 40 and 60000 dollars. How many would they sell? very few, and there no kudos because toyotas are no longer in rally championships/touring car.

True in the past. Rumor has it that if Toyota is going to release another Supra it will be in the RX8/350Z range, starting around $29k-$30K. For some of the Supra concepts I've seen, I'd pay it.

Unfortunatly it looks like toyota is expecting the Matrix to keep their sportscar fans. They are going to have an AWD/ Turbo version. I still can't believe they decided to do that to a Matrix, and never tried another round with it in the Celica before calling it quites.
The only hope I have for Toyota is that they will ended release another Supra in the US. I have seen ALOT of official concept pics. Some good, some not so good. We shall see.

He's asking 11.5k now, which of course still isn't as good as 6k. If I could find one that fits your description I'd be all over it. Where did you find yours?

UPDATE 7/17/04
Just as an update the guy came back and said he wanted another $2,500 for the title. I was like what the f*ck. How can you call yourself selling a car to someone if your'e not going to give them the title. Needless to say that endevour came to a hault. Still on the look-out though.
