I work for a dealer and had customer come in and ask me to check his airbag system so he could get his car inspected. After talking to him he told me that he rebuilds cars at his bodyshop. I ask if he could help me with the celica and he said no problem that I had to pay for the inspection fee $90.00.
He took care of all the papers and had it inspected. WHAT LUCK!!!!!!!
I will take 60.00 for the steering wheel and hub plus shipping both like new just installed and never driven, replaced with factory wheel and airbag.

Such a nice car, definatley what i hope mine to look like one day.ill take the boomer sides...ill pm you about more information.

Edit: i noticed those side inserts in the door that match the color of your seats... Did you get that made? or do it yourself? Im interested in doing that, but my seats are a dark blue and black and was hoping to make/find those in that same dark blue or atleast something close.

The inserts were in the car when I got it.

The poor celica is still setting in the driveway. Still have not had no luck on the title. If I don't get the title changed I'm going to part it out or sale complete.

Coomer
Here is the answer your looking for on the cruise. The cruise lever will not mount on a momo steering wheel or adpter. There is space inside the right side of the column to mount the old lever. The cover will have tobe cut for the lever to come out and a small
mount plate made to mount the switch. Not to hard of a job and could look factory when finished. Next problem the cruise and horn wiring goes through the airbag clockspring and the clockspring has to be removed to install a momo steering hub. so you will have to splice the cruise wiring together. For the horn your going to have to figure that one for your self. With more time I could get that working. For right now I'm changing back to airbags for an inspection.

For those of you that have seen this car on 6GC. You know it came from the dead. For the past two months my daughter and I have been building this car and it's almost ready for the road. Now for the bad part, this car has a "Salvage" title. I'm going to have to get it changed to a "Clean or Rebuilt" title, so I can get a tag. I need to know if ANYONE out there has both air bags that I can buy, loan or rent so I can get this car inspected and get a tag for it. I do not plan on keeping the air bags after the car is inspected.
In the state of Alabama, to have a car inspected and have the title changed. You 1st must have a rebuilder licenses. a $10,000 bond and a blanket liability insurance coverage.
I,m work on getting all of this. A bunch of bulls--t to stop individuals from rebuilding good cars. If it doesn't work out, I'll just part this car out or sale as salvage and I know my daughter doesn't want to see that. PLEASE HELP THANKS. Ü

I just completed this for my 17 year old daughter and I know she will love it. I think I'm going to build a yellow turbo coupe for myself
New pictures to come of the complete car with the lip kit installed.
