All of you who are under twenty five and pay less than 100 bucks a month have a new thing coming once you get kicked off your parents insurance! Well at least that's what happened to me.......after 5 speeding tickets! I know, I know... I'm an idiot. I've since learned my lesson and came to realize that speeding is stupid......without a radar/laser detector!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!Take that Johnny Law!!!

Hey I've been trying to get a power steering pump lately and everyone I've almost bought has different mounting from my stock one. Was this remade at at some point? Does anyone know anything about this? If so, where the hell can I get ahold of the right one?

Hey I'm in the same boat but I got another problem- you could possibly run into the same one eventually. Pricing ranges from about $120 (that's including the core charge) to about $160. BUT- every store I've checked so far, Autozone, Pepboys, Advance auto parts, all have the wrong one. The ones they have all look the same as the stock one but they mount the exact opposite of the way stock ones mount. You should notice what I'm talkin about if you look at the one on your car and how it mounts to your engine and compare it to the one they have. I'm going to my local Toyota dealer tomorrow to see if they have any answers for this and to see how much one is through them. I'm also going to check NAPA auto parts tomorrow and see if they carry the right one. I'll post again as soon as I get some answers.

Just find the cars of the guys who are jerkin you around and take their seats out of their cars, and hold them captive til you get yours completely installed and functioning properly!!! Let throw their seats away (or sell them) and tell them it's gonna be 4-6 weeks!!! Do unto others as you shall have done unto you...

Hey- I gotta buddy of mine with a civic hatch (eg; 93') and he swapped an H22 (prelude motor) in it. fast as hell......in a straight line. he flipped it two months later from taking a turn too fast in the cold and hit a tree on the front drivers side which caused it to roll. My point is, civics are amazing cars but if you're looking for a car that can handle- don't buy a hatch.....they are drag only!!!!! They just don't have any weight in the back end

I have a friend that has the Torino seats in a 90' VW GTI and they are the most comfy racing seats ever! As long as you aren't fat, they should be perfect. (If you are, I'm very sorry for saying that....and no offense to those who are)

I just swapped my old 7afe with one with 2ok miles on it and it did exactly the same thing as what you're talking about-oddly enough it went away and idles at the correct rpms- i guess the ecu just adjusted whatever it was and it worked. another thing you can do to check for vacuum line leaks is spray starter fluid all over your engine and if it revs up really high then you've got a vacuum line leak-don't worry though, starter fluid evaporates really quick so it wont stay all over your engine-hope this essay helps!

QUOTE(pokemeintheeye @ Sep 20, 2005 - 12:32 PM)
I think I found the problem.  The ignition timing was a little off but I adjusted that.  That wasn't the problem though.  I just have to plug a couple of things in then see what happens.  Gotta finish changing the clutch first though.

It could also be a bad EGR- Haynes does make a manual and you can pick em up at autozone for about $15 i like it

Hey, I haven't looked into them all that much, but are leather 6th gen seats pretty hard to get ahold of? How much would they cost?

[SIZE=1]Hey everyone! I'm new to this whole forum thing and sort of new to the 6th gen thing. I gotta 95 ST with 180k miles on it but I just put a newer 7afe engine in it. Drumroll please.........The new engine only has 22k miles on it, practically brand new! I have no clue how I came across this one!
