Hey guys... I've been talking with some people about this big meet I wanna get together. The meet would be in Summer of 2007... this is a lil less then a year and a half away, so ppl can plan for this... We were talking about doing a Vegas thing over the 4th of July in 2007... I wanna here what yall think about this... Now I understand that not everyone is gonna wanna drive... So some ppl would be flying out... We can get a discounted rate on a hotel for a big group... AND Hotel rates are fairly cheap out there... They start at $30 a night... and with ppl rooming with each other that will cut down on cost alot. Right now I just wanna hear u guys' opinions on this... The idea is...

Vegas... Get a bunch of rooms on one floor of a hotel and have a casino, site seeing, whatever u wanna do in vegas... and then hotel party and hangin out whenever ppl are up in the rooms... And the dates we were considering were Friday July 5th 2007 - Sunday July 7th....

Just gimme some input on this Ideas?

another thing... not to bum anyone out... but if we do this in Vegas it's gonna be hard to have anyone under 18.... cause they can't gamble or anything... if ppl under 18 wanna go... then I dunno what to tell ya... cause it's kind of like I'd need parental permission since I'm running this thing... just something to keep in mind...

^^ I can't speak for every turbo car owner... but when I would cruise in the all trac I would tend to stay out of boost... I didn't wanna waste gas The ct26 turbo, which is stock on the 3sgte tends to spool up starting around 3800rpm. If I was just cruising, I could keep it under the spool point in order to stay out of boost... pressure is still building though and may cause the BOV to go off even though ur not boosting. heh... My fave thing to do would be to cruise next to some ricer just under boost or just starting to spool and then when they start to take off I'm already at boost and just fly by them oooooh I miss that sound *vroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom pssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!*

a normal 4age isn't gonna make much diff in a 6th gen... the car is heavy... now sticking it in my rolla and the rolla will FLY but yea... 3sgte swap is a better choice for the N/A celis, or turbo the 4age... u also gotta remember that the 4age is a high rev engine, so if ur shifting at 6k then ur not getting the full potential... REDLINE THAT BEYOTCH!!

everyone I've heard of that has used depo have had horrible side effects... i was going to get on it a while back but decided against it when the Dr's said it can cause both physical and mental issues in some women... I'm on the pill... Only thing about it though... DON"T take antibiotics and have sex while on the pill... makes the pill not work, lol. As I know from experiance But yea... I never had any problems on the pill until I had antibiotics... It works great and never had any problems with it

As far as I see mods going... I would rather buy a bone stock car and then make it to what I wanted... I don't plan on selling the car if I am putting alot of money into mods... A little intake and exhaust shouldn't raise the price on a car... Unless the car is turbo it's really only for sound and maybe 10hp max... I see no point in wasting the money to heavily mod a car if ur gonna sell it... U end up short in the long run... If I'm puttin money into the car to make it fast or look nice, I'm not gonna sell it, would be a waste of time, money and effort.

Yea... I had a 90 black all trac... and I'm looking to get another or wait to get a 205 imported... I'll have to call that guy and see if he says differently about what I know about importing one

Yes there is a gt-s in the 5th gen... I had one... it has a 5sfe engine... st-x isn't fast but it's a decent car for 1k IMO the 5th gen is wonderful and wont do ya wrong BUT, if ur looking for a very nice 5th gen go with a gt-s or an all trac

oh yes... I know how the GT4s work, lol... Even my little 185 was a money pit even though I only had her for a short time With things that need to be done as well as things that u want to be done

tnx guys.... and I've seen that silver 205... I said this same thing to Mark... Why would I pay 19k for a regular 205 when I can get a WRC edition for 10k I have a friend who will sell me his... just gotta get the cash lol

I'd pay as much as I had to to get one and keep it mint. yea I'd drive it and have fun with it, lol, but that thing would be kept nice. It would be my nice little money pit

I want the car because it is my dream car... It's the rarest celica ever made and I want to own a piece of celica history, not to mention the greatest one, IMO. I don't want it cause I cna't have it... I can have it if I want it, lol... anyone can if they know how to get it and have money.

and no... I don't have a celi right now... and I figure.. why spend money on a new car when I can get a 205 for just as much or cheaper. Others may have other reasons for wanting one... but I want it for the car... not to say "I can" I already know that I can

^^ That is all right... but there is no reason to stick a 2nd gen 3s in there... u can swap a 3rd gen 3s into an st165 or st185, so it's not that big a deal... The main part of getting the car legal is the VINS... it has to have vin plates... now I"ve heard of ppl yanking them off of a 6gc and registering it that way... but if u want a truly legal one u gotta get VINs form Toyota for a nice price

yea... I wasn't driving... and needless to say, next time I get a GT4 NOONE is touching it!!!! especially a 205!
