Thanks Box for the reply, I've been doing more research and I realized that I probably will have to buff it out, I found some products that may help with getting that outline off.

Hey guys, I'm back again but this time its about removing the rear emblems (or debadging, whatever the kids are calling it nowadays). I took the badges off already and got most, if not all, of the adhesive off. The thing is that there is still the outline of the badges of my car. Being that my car is 20 years old I expected it to have some dirt and outlines but I haven't found any ways of getting the outline to go away. Is there anyone who debadged their car that can help me find a solution. I took my emblems off to replace/respray them but I wanted to remove the outlines as I won't be putting all the original badges back on. If anyone can offer some advice or recommend things I can do to make the outlines go away then I'd be really appreciative.

That makes sense. I'll see if i can get a set of OE ones first and if not, then I'll go with replicas. Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it.

That does make sense, I have a lead on some replicas already but like you said fitment is an issue so that's why I want the OEM ones. Where did you get your OEM blocks?

Thanks End for the reply. Seeing what I'd have to do if I got replicas makes me want to get the OEM ones more haha. I do have the 2 post spoiler and with OEM blocks it would be easy to install. I wanna get the old style that has "GT-Four" embedded into the blocks. If I can get some authentic ones then great, if not then replicas will have to do. I've also red that install thread and some of the other guys posted that there is a kit to installing the gt4 blocks. Is that true? And if so, would that be a good route to take regardless of which blocks I get?

You just need the blocks, the spoiler on your car is the same spoiler used on the ST-205. Just find some blocks of whatever colour and paint them black yourself.

Thanks for the reply Box, I was thinking of getting just blocks but they seem harder to find and I've already found a few listings (on eBay and other sites) that sell the whole spoiler for about the same as the blocks. If I can get my hands on some OEM gt4 blocks then i'd be pretty much set.

Hey guys,

I know this is kind of a shot in the dark but I'm looking for an OEM GT4 spoiler with the riser blocks. If I can get just the OEM blocks that would be okay too but I really want (and looking for) the gt4 ones. I know a lot of people are looking for the blocks or the spoiler. I almost got my hands on one in the same color as my car (red 3L2) but the site that had it falsely advertised it. If anyone has or is able to get a gt4 spoiler or just the OEM riser blocks then I would be interested in purchasing them. If it is possible to get I would greatly appreciate it if the spoiler was red (and of course the blocks would be black). I know that's asking a lot but if it's possible you might as well get what you want. If anyone can help me or at least point me in the direction to getting one than I would be very thankful.

I posted this in exterior styling but realized it should be here. Again if anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks everyone.

I apologize in advance for reviving an old topic thread but I have recently been getting issues with my turn signals. I have changed the side markers to LEDs and I just changed my front turn signals to LEDs as well. I wired in the load resistors and that's when my problems started. The problem is that when my lights are all off (i.e. when i'm driving in the daytime) and I use my turn signals, all the lights in the front blink. That means both turn signals and side markers. But when I turn my lights on (just my driving lights without headlights) the turn signals work fine, I don't have any hyper blinking or anything but I have noticed that my side marker LEDs have been changing color (from amber to a reddish color). I was wondering if I possibly wired it up wrong or maybe I need a relay that is made for LEDs, if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it, and sorry again for reviving an old thread.

So I apologize in advance for bringing up an old thread but I'm in the market of buying new wheels soon. The specs are 17x8.25 et 25 on 215/45r17s, the tires have some stretch but I want to get the flush look but have the car still be functional as it is my daily driver. How would i achieve a good fitment while still having the car be really functional. Would I need spacers, and if so what sizes for the front and rear. If anyone has this set up and looks good if you could include pictures it'd be much appreciated. Any help would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey do you have the driver side ac vent? I just need the cover. I'm trying to run an external fog light switch and I want to have an extra cover if I mess up the first one when drilling out that part where I'm going to mount the switch. I'll add a photo if anything so you know what I'm talking about. How much would it be shipped to Idaho 83706?

Just the cover

So your website isn't working, I was thinking about getting a few pieces for an LED conversion kit but now the website won't open. Anyone else have this problem?

The only one who I can think of is Cuts_the_Pilot. But he's in Tasmania not exactly close.

Yeah I think that's quite a ways to travel for him, plus the GT4 in the picture/video had that front lip splitter.

I saw the 6 gen as well.. Was really hopping to see that run but Gramps did very well..

Yeah, I really wanted to see that GT4 do a run, I wanna see what its capable of, that way I would be able to gauge just how fast gramps is. Good build, I'm sure they have more plans for him but its sweet either way.

So I've been watching Might Car Mods on Youtube for a while now and I personally think what those two guys do is pretty amazing. I have been following their Gramps build and on this episode they were at the Drag strip in Sydney Australia. Of course the thing I noticed the most was the GT4 at the bottom of the screen in the picture I am going to attach. I figured you guys would enjoy seeing one of our fellow 6GC owners at the race track. To the owner of that GT4, if you were watching Marty and Moog try to reach 11 seconds in that Subaru wagon then hats off to you, I'm sure it was quite a show. This post may be irrelevant but I just had to share it with someone, and who better than the 6GC community.

Thanks for all of the advice guys, unfortunately the seller of that ST raised the price way too much. So I'm sticking with my GT. I told myself that when my current engine blows up (the 5SFE) I'm gonna do a manual/engine swap to a beams 3sge or a 3sgte. So it will only be a matter of time.

laugh.gif thats what I told myself wayyyy back in highschool when I got my ST. I'm gonna drive it til it blows and then swap it. well 8 years later, just over 200k and still not gonna blow. hahaha.

Just post up your address and leave your car out one night and I'm sure we can find something to make your dream a reality wink.gif

That sounds like a recipe for getting my car stolen haha. And that's not a bad idea, keep my auto GT for my daily and do an engine swap in another GT....Hmmm I'll have to ponder on this option now.

That's true, I didn't really think about that, I might just put a film on it that way I can stay away from having to recalibrate the speedo and the other gauges.

White LEDs and red needles are what I wanted to put but I wasn't sure how I'd get red needles. I was thinking of doing a red niteshade (for the tail lights) on just the needles and putting a white LED bulb behind it but wasn't sure how it'd turn out. Is there any way to get red needles with white LEDs for the numbers on the gauges?

Hey guys, I've been a part of this forum for a while, I have a 95 GT auto and I just recently found a 95 ST that has less mileage than mine (125k compared to my 225k) and it is also a manual. I was just wondering if there are any ST owners out there who have owned both the ST and GT or have compared both. Is it worth dropping down to a ST model. I like the fact that this ST I'm thinking about purchasing is a manual and has 100k less miles than mine but I just wanna get some advice from some of you guys. Should I keep my auto GT or would i be better off with the manual ST. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

Hey guys, I've been away from the forum for a while and I've just recently been trying to get back on. I'm still looking for parts for my car and I was wondering if anyone has a set of mud flaps that they wouldn't mind selling to me. Set of 4 would be fine but I'm mainly looking for the rear ones. If anyone has a set please let me know, I'm very interested in purchasing it. Thanks.

Try running some seafoam through the fuel system with fresh mid grade or higher in it. It's possible the octane dropped a level and you've got some separation. Wouldn't hurt to change the fuel filter too. Also, if it's been sitting 6 months, it wouldn't hurt to change the oil.

Yeah I changed the fuel filter and the plug wires and now it's not trembling anymore. I ran sea foam when I got my car back and I'm gonna do it again and start running non-ethanol fuel. I have to do an oil change and I will probably put lucas oil additive so that it's all good.

Hey guys, so I have a 95 GT and just recently (like it just started today) my car started trembling but only when I am at a stop light. When the car is idling at a stop light it starts to pulse and tremble as if it's going to die off. I can not only hear the trembling but I can feel it in the pedals. The car is also running really sluggish and I already changed plugs, cap, and rotor (because they were never changed). My car was also sitting when I was trying to get my transmission figured out. I was told that I should change the fuel filter because the car has been sitting for the better part of 6 months with ethanol fuel in it. I was wondering if any of you guys had this problem and what you did to fix it. Anyone that could help I'd really appreciate it.
