ill hopefully be finacing a suzuki sv 650 soon if my dad co-signs it for me, im gunna try to have one before mid july

x2 on the SV 650

enough power to put a smile on your face but controllable and easy to learn on. They are also very comfortable for long hauls.

Suzuki makes the best bikes pound-for-pound in my opinion.

Bah! I'd come but I sold my celica a month ago. I'm stuck in downtown chicago and the car did me no good.

I regret my decision every day.

That silver celica with the black roof looks incredibly sharp.

You are not even worth argueing with... rolleyes.gif Getting sick of peoples attitudes on this forum. Every time I post someone thinks they have a better opinion or know more then me

jgreening makes excellent points. You need to let go of your biases.

I've seen countless Supras on two bars or more of boost popping hoses left and right trying to get the kind of numbers a slightly modified LS series engine can attain comfortably.

There's rarely anything reliable about forced induction, esepcially when you start turning up the boost.

Anyways, these guys aren't your enemies. Anyone who can appreciate a 2JZ and a Smallblock Chevy is by far more enlightened than most of the ricers or track monkies out there. Take their opinions with an open ear.

to add on:

2000-2002 spyders, no.
2003+ standard.

You think they would've learned their lessons back in the 90's.

Wow.

A renamed camry.

With the exact same motor as in the US market.

Why are we getting excited, again?

This thread is ridiculous and horribly, horribly sexist.

Cars don't possess gender. They are inanimate objects.

End of story.

i couldn't wait till someone posted the pic from the magazine so i checked the website. no pics but some interesting info.

I wanna punch this article. it's ridiculous and anyone who believes an ounce of it is a fool. Toyota hasn't even released the power specs on the new tundra yet and we know for a fact that vehicle is coming. Oh, but SOMEHOW this website knows the exact power specs AND pricing. Wow. they must be psychic.

toyotaworld.com since you're just gonna get the hood I assume you have the matching bumper. if you don't GAP will be present.

Yea, you don't want that gap; it'd be like driving a GM product.

Hey, I just noticed you over there and thought, "damn, she's cute. I want to go talk to her."

I'm direct.

Unless you guys what crap I'd never actually use:

Baby, you must work a subway because you just gave me a footlong.

Scion. Easily the most practical car there with the most creature comforts. You're also going to get the most for your dollar.

The only downside is that it's the doggiest performer of the three and it's fastly gaining a reputation as a chick car.

The MRS is the most underrated car ever. Why? There was a lot of passion for the MR2 Turbo and too many people pass this one off at first glance. Anyone who says it's not "powerful" enough has never driven one, because I can guarantee you that it's the most properly balanced car that you can get for your dollar out there right now. The interior is kind of spartan, but I like that in my cars. The only drawback is it's good for nothing else beyond driving. No driving in bad conditions, no storage, no passenegers, high insurance, and a history of being a popular car to steal. Be sure to get an 03+ with stock LSD, better seats, and slightly better styling. Stay away from that e-manual crap or whatever it is.

And 7th gen... well not it's kind of a compromise between the other two, now isn't it?

a 5sfe will require almost as much work as a 3sgte. and the extra 25 hp wouldn't be worth it. might as well go the extra step and get a 3sgte. if that's out of your price range, get either a 4age or 4agze.

I object slightly. Just as much work? Yes. Just as much money? Not by a long shot. 5S engines and parts are cheap and numerous. A 3S clip would cost 3 to 4 times as much as a 5S. Is it worth the 25 extra horsepower? Probably not.

Nope.

You can buy an SRT-4 in all 50 states.

Wowie everyone get ur panties in a twist because it didnt look THAT impressive to me.

Seriously if my comment has upset anybody in any way, you need a life.

it's ok... it wasn't that impressive to me either...

why? controlling heavy understeer is easier than snap oversteer. what do I mean? drift angle and counter steer angle.

x3

Just a lot of tire smoke.

How could anyone on this board care about DSM's enough to carry on a debate this long.

This should've ended at "DSM's are gay" with everyone agreeing and the topic at hand carrying on.

that is a verry ignorant post....he is asking which car to get..so we are putting our views into things and helping him decide which should be his next car...how bout you stay out of it and dont fill this section with that bs

Uh, no he's not. He's asking which one we would choose. Go re-read. That and I bet that there's only maybe a dozen people on this board that could afford any of those cars (much less insure them).
