PrimeMr2.com also offers this, looks like they have added a stage 2 upgrade as well.

Go custom, clock the turbo.

Wish I could. Hopefully in the future. Funds are kind of tight right now.

I need to get a front mount intercooler kit, but having a little trouble finding the right one that would take little to no custom fitting. I have a gen. 4 3sgte in my 6g. I was hesitant to go with the one for an st205 because I know the throttle bodies are positioned differently. Again with the caldina kit I'm sure the engine bays are very different. So basically just trying to find one that I can drop right in and bolt up. As always any feed back or suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks

Very interested. Some more info and a price point would be helpful on deciding though.

I have a 4th gen and I absolutely love it! It spools super fast and gives me everything I want out of this car at the moment. Not sure on what kind of power I'm putting down, but I've been running 16psi on fully stock internals for about a year now as my daily driver.

NOOO!! Save the curren front ends for the people with coupes. Like me! biggrin.gif

I wish I had the money for a coupe so I can use the curren front sitting in my dads shop. Whenever I have the money the next car I buy is going to be a silver GT coupe.

I wish I had the money to make you an offer on that curren front end. It sucks because I know when I finally get my money right and am able to purchase one, it will be next to impossible to find.

You could offer me three times what I payed and I still probably wouldn't sell it tongue.gif

Lol. I can understand that. So buy a coupe and do it up. I would enjoy another quality curren conversion project, stuck watching and learning since I can't do mine yet. rolleyes.gif

Why do a conversion at all? The 6gc is already very unique with great lines. I can understand the curren conversion for coupes or GT4 for hatches. You obviously want some thing other than a celica, why not just buy the car you want it to look like. That's what I would do, and then just work on the celica to get it into pristine condition. If it is not already there. Just my $.02

So I've been having some pretty rough vibration above 60mph. I'm aware that our cars are lug centric. In the process of taking my wheels off to make sure they are mounted evenly, I notice that not only is there a built in hub centric ring but also a red circular sticker next to the lugs with a lexus L on it. So I'm guessing this would be a good indication that I have lexus discs??

We'll good luck! I know I can't be the only one who would like to see this become a more feasable/less costly conversion.

Meh to the nay-sayers. Glad to see that you guys got that shizzle done! Major inspiration for me! smile.gif

Thanks Ngo! It was a long process, I will be making an in depth how to thread when I go about converting mine to AWD. So more will come in the future my friend!

So much awesome! Will deffinately be a thread to follow. Do you expect it to be smoother, possibly cheaper this go around considering all the trial and error in the first build?

I had a very similar problem. Apparently it's pretty common. Not saying it would necessarily fix your problem but I went full synchromesh, fixed it right up.

If they are JDM, you won't be able to use them in North America without blinding oncoming traffic, as the glass lense have physical grooves etched in them to refract light towards the left hand side of the road. There is nothing you can do to modify these lights aside from transplanting USDM lenses onto the JDM housings in order to use them safely in N. America. Anywhere else in the world where you drive on the left side of the road though, and you're good. Sorry if this is a deterrent to your sale, but I'd rather people be making safe purchases for their Celicas.

(Also, not DOT approved, if that is of any relevance to someone's safety inspection, as it was to mine)

That's the answer I was looking for, thanks.

I understand they are direct bolt on but I Think you may have misunderstood me. I meant do you have to change the angle of the light beam so it is not shining in peoples eyes? Don't you have to modify JDM projector for this reason? Would these be the same?

5'11" and headroom and shoulder room is good for me. Only issue is getting in, Seat is too low for me so i either fall in and hope that the enormous ebrake won't jam into the side of my back, or destroy the driver seat getting in lol

x2. 5'11 as well, it's also quite a challenge climbing out lol

Finally got around to changing my transmission oil, I used full synchromesh as recommended by prime performance. WOW! What an improvement over that black sludge I drained out. No more grinding in third, or any gear for that matter it's so smooth now. Amazing how something as simple as changing trans oil can make such a big difference. And perfect timing too, have a new 7gc short shifter on the way in the mail right now biggrin.gif. I hope it's as good as what I've read, I set my expectations pretty high tongue.gif

Yeah think this is pretty common, mine is the same way. But my car also starts sputtering and stalling once I get down to a 1/4 tank, then it only takes 8 gallons to fill up. Guessing it has to do with the fact that the previous owner had the gas tank replaced.
