you can also price match Walmart prices at Oriellys as long as it's locally in stock. I do it every time just to avoid Walmart lines |

Check your strut, my Celica had a bad strut only on the right rear. Whenever I did turning on the highways it did cause some vibration with the steering wheel and some clunking while going over dips. To replicate the sound and confirmed it was my strut, make the car bounce on the rear just by pushing on the rear bumper or opening the passenger door and standing on the door sills using momentum. |

The only way I can open the door is if i insert the key turn the key to unlock Hold the key in the open position and lift the handle at the same time. What would I have to check or replace ??? same 2 months ago, never fixed it or diagnosed it but it seems to be working like normal now |

Hello guys and girls,i have a major leak and i cant pass emissions testing. I need to change my cat converter gaskets but i cannot find the parts number for the gaskets.I checked toyodiy but nothing. My car is an ST 1.8 Anyone knows the parts number for the Cat Converter gaskets? Thanks. Google Header Gasket Material, you can cut your own gaskets and put them in. Had to do it for my headers, works great and inexpensive. Some auto stores carry them locally too |

thanks a lot for quick response. oh it would be tough job then. if i could get hold of one, how can i replace it? just unbolt, detach and reattach things? Unless there's someone with new old stock that wasn't thrown away, your only place to get a replacement will be from a parts car. Maybe could use the same piece from another car of the era, or make one out of a sheet of thin black plastic. Odds are the same piece was used on any automatic Toyota of the time with a 4-speed automatic. You can use this as a reference to dismantling it. lots of pics n different angles. I wanna try to stay with the 5x100 pattern I have currently. The issue I'm having is I'm browsing through bearings locally and I'm noticing the bearings slip over the top of the shaft for the wheel hub when normally, they are supposed to be pressed in. This leads me to believe that A. the wheel hub's shaft is ground down from wear (which I doubt) or B. the bearings I'm getting locally are not the correct bearings. Fronts have to be pressed in, Rears can be replaced with a hub assembly. I've done the passenger front on my old Celica, and almost did the a driver's rear for my current. I know they have to be pressed in I was just looking for a source where they aren't crazy expensive. If you have a FB, and don’t mind waiting 2-3 weeks. Sometimes sooner. He’s inexpensive and owns Jap Yard full of 6gc. Can pull anything and ship anywhere. https://m.facebook.com/abdul.teem.3 |

How far did you roll your rear fenders? I ran a set of 18x7 +46 with 215/40/18 on mine years ago with a 25mm spacer to flush me up. Effective offset: +21 I was already rolled, but had some rubbing still... I found I had to roll the front side of the rear fenders, all the way to the side skirt. This solved my problem. Maybe you're not rolled far enough forward around the arch. Just checked the rear and yeah it’s just the top middle section rolled when going down the arch it does fold back up, But that area clears the tires just fine, I can see the linear marks on the old tires and it’s coming from the top. It looks like the fender is sitting on the tire but really it’s curving over it. I’m thinking of adding just a little bit of camber to the rears and hope it won’t look too bad. |

Anyone know where I can get a decently priced wheel hub for the front? Mine has developed these grooves midway through and I'm not really sure if it's a deal breaker. Suggestions welcomed. Thanks, Brandon Could do a 5x114.3 conversion, replaces all hubs n bearings and parts are local. you have a GT so it'll be cheaper for you. These are the notes I've gathered on it, when I was interested in doing it. 1994 Rear Disc Conversion for AT200/1.8L/7AFE/ST/Celica/Hatchback/5SPD/ -Parking brake cable and parking assembly, back plate, and caliper setup off GT/ST204/2.2L/5SFE. 1994 5x100 to 5x114.3 Conversion(No Adapters) -2Front(95-00 Rav4 2.0L 5DR) Wheel Hub & Bearing Assembly. -2Front Rotors(91-96 Camry) IN 275MM. -2Rear Rotors(91-96 Camry) IN 269MM. -2Rear(91-96 Camry) Complete Rear Hub & Bearing Assembly. and then wheels in 5x114.3 Parts were fairly cheap but it was the cost of labor that made me sway from it. I believe its 100% all there, I suppose everything you get bolts up perfectly, will have to double check the thread to confirm. |

This past 2 days I've gotten my wheels on, and all 4 fenders rolled. *Car is lowered to fitment of 225/45 tires. *Perfect height and not too low for me. *Wheel specs are 225/45/17 on 17x9.5 with 32 offset.* Fronts didn't clear the brake caliper and rear was scraping the coil over springs. *Added 5mm spacer on all 4's, fronts cleared the brake caliper, rear cleared the spring.* After this, I started getting tire rubbing only on the Passenger Rear just over small dips n bumps on the road, just barley scratching it but with the wheel spinning at 30-65mph, sounds so dramatic and horrible. *switched rears from 225/45 to 215/45* This cleared all the rubbings issues and lets me road dive without issues, but now I got a good little wheel gap, and I'm not liking the stretch look, missing the 225/45. *Current Setup -Fronts 17x9.5 225/45/17 with 5mm Spacer Offset=27 -Rears 17x9.5 215/45/17 with 5mm Spacer Offset=27 *Also no alignment yet. Before I get my alignment, I want to know if I took off the 5mm Spacers and added a 3mm all around instead would this clear? I want to add the 225/45 back on the rears and only changed it because I had work that night and didn't want to risk my daily. The new setup would be: -Fronts 17x9.5 225/45/17 with 3mm Spacer Offset=29 -Rears 17x9.5 225/45/17 with 3mm Spacer Offset=29 and then alignment. Anyone have thoughts or experiences? |

I bought 3 74 Smd Led bulbs (link below), when I got the climate control out the Led bulbs are 4x longer than stock. Am I suppose to sand them down, to fit or would I have to solder them in? Need advice on these cause their already here and the climate control is just chilling in the trunk. Also, if you have a link to better bulbs that are direct fit and don't require soldering, I wouldn't mind buying again. -TIA Led 74 3 SMD 360 Degree Bulbs: https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/we...trofit-car/228/ |

^This. Another option to the Work or ESR is the Rota Torque. It's the same style with the added benefit of having been around for years, so there are plenty of used sets around for cheap. FWIW: If I was going to spend $1k on a set of wheels, I would look into the used JDM wheel market. If you are on fb, you can look at either of the groups: Rare Wheel Awareness or 5x100 Wheel Classifieds. There are plenty of deals to be had, plus you'll get the quality of an authentic wheel. Sweet didn’t know they had that, I’ll join em. |

it would be better if you were to post images of the wheels you are considering Here’s the 3 I’ve narrowed down too, so far. I’m sure there’s more i’d like just haven’t found em. Looking for 17s. 1. Esr Sr08- Straight Concave, may not be as deep as I want it to be though. https://m.ebay.com/itm/ESR-SR08-17x8-5-30-5...4-/263148019578 2. Cosmic Racing- Has Lip with Concave but not sure could be too much. https://m.ebay.com/itm/Cosmis-Racing-XT206R...6.c100890.m2460 3. Xxr 555- these were perfect until I found out the lip size for 17s are 1.75inches, so may be flat face with a lip. https://m.ebay.com/itm/XXR-555-17x8-5x100-1...s-/401354624616 |
