WTB:

- Stock Fuel Door - Any color, but in good condition (No rust or broken tabs).

- Stock Climate Control - Again in good working condition without peeling face.

- Rear Hatch plastic tabs / screws. The ones on the top corners of the rear most plastic that connects it to the side plastics. Hopefully thats a good description, lol.

And taking a shot here...

- Doggy custom half height spoiler riser blocks.

I would like to see pics of the parts if you are selling. You can pm me or post here. I am located in MD-20903.

Thanks!

those of you who have put mesh/grill in the front of your pre face life post some pics.

i wish the ssIII grill fit, i wonder if it would be possible to trim it, which "mouth" is bigger?

lets use this thread as a brainstorm, because honestly i like the pre facelift better, its just the lack of accessories (clear turns, grills, etc) that suckkks.

-brian

Clear turns are available for the pre facelift - here's a pic I took of a pair this afternoon biggrin.gif

Hand made to order in the U.K, they are exact copies of the originals. Not cheap, but the best

Very nice!! How do we order these? Also, is there any chance of a group buy?

The rubber pieces are there to help reduce squeaking from the springs when they compress in bumps/dips.

You can definitely hear (and feel) when VTEC kicks in. Especially with an intake.

I had one a couple of years ago. I agree that it is a very fun car to drive. The driver's position was good for me, but the seats in the Celica are much more supportive and comfy. The car was quick not that fast, but back then it held it's own with other cars. I'm sure you all know that the aftermarket is endless with the civic, especially with the Si. I had the comptech intake and springs with Koni Yellows set up and man it was nice. The only thing is if you get one be prepared for negative attention from other people and cops. The last draw for me was when a cop pulled me over for thinking my car was stolen and started yelling at me asking me where I got my car. He wanted to search my car and I guess he forgot to ask me for my license and registration, so he was like oh, let me see those. Then when they checked out that my car was ok then they just gave me a tint ticket. The next week I sold my car. I do miss the fun I had driving it, but I don't miss the fear of my car being stolen where ever I go (even with an alarm).

Are these off a TC? Are you sure it's 215/40/17? Can you double check that? If it is the stock 215/45/17, I might take these off your hands. Please post some pics. I'm in Beltsville, btw.

Well, I was able to get someone to get my car on a lift, and it turns out that the wire was loose on the connector. He is trying to see if he can put another connector on there. I hope this solves the problem!

Oh and some prices:

Knock Sensor at the dealer = $175
Knock Sensor at Autozone = $225 ??? wtf??

Thanks for the correction. Hopefully I will get to it today after work since it's not raining. Quick question, if all I need are new wires, will any wires do?

Just wondering... how tough is it to change this sensor? I have some basic tools with jack stands and a hydrolic jack...
