great reliability, and perfect fitment. The SSautocrap tubular manifolds are prone to cracking. This would work great for a 5sfe turbo setup, or a replacement on a 3sgte.

$50 shipped

thanks for looking

what kind are you selling? new? used? pics?

sorry to not specify. its the OEM cast iron.

later

Oh yeah.. and its really weird. when ever i get a negative correction % my idle sounds really sparatic. like goes from 1800rpm to 1400rpm and then back up in a matter of a second or so. and repeats over and over. And it seems to idle really high (ie :1800-2000)

well ima go mess with it some more

Hey. i installed an msd 2 bar map sensor, and the safc doesnt seem to be working with it very well. With the new 2 bar installed and i go to "SENSOR CHECK", NOT "SENSOR TYPE" i can see the in-1 voltage. It is 2.250 with the car just "ON" NOT STARTED. The stock map sensor was 4.500.

Anyways my quesiton is for people with a 5sfe turbo and a 3sgte map sensor.. What In-1 Voltage are u getting when the car is just "ON" Not STARTED.

ie: go to ETC, and then go to "Sensor Check" to find these voltages on your apexi SAFC II.

AGAIN THESE ARE NOT THE "SENSOR TYPE" IN AND OUT SETTINGS.

I would just like to know the difference in voltage between my MSD 2 bar, and the 3sgte 2 bar, because im considering buying one.

Thanks

Dan.

but anyways. do u think i should go with the 3sgte map sensor or new injectors. i know for a fact that the new injectors will help me run leaner. My experience with a 2 bar map sensor has given me doubts on it effectiveness of leaning a/f's. u wanna let me borrow yours manny? lol. j/k. but i really wanna see what happens if i put a 3sgte map on before i buy one for a $50-100 because i just bought a brand new msd 2 bar lol and it yeilded no effect. But again i dont even know if its wired in correctly?! kindasad.gif

Anyways.. what do u guys think i should do?

anyone live in washington that has a 3sgte map sensor? biggrin.gif someone that would let me plug their map sensor in for a sec? lol.. but kinda seirously. i'll drive somewhere.

Thanks.

ahh.. i still dont understand why u can run the 460's and not go too rich?! If i was at like -10% to idle with my 460cc's i'd be at like 5:1 A/F lol.

do u think u could do me a favor?

take out your map sensor, or put the stock on in for a sec. just a quick unplug and plug in. and see if you run extremely rich? because then thatd mean i did the 2 bar wiring wrong. but still. for some reason i just dont see my fuel problems being fixed all of a sudden over a map sensor.. but let me know waht u think

what a/fs do u get at idle manny? with the 460cc's and u said like -10% correction. that doesnt make sense that i have the same injectors and even at -50% are running too rich to even drive.

something isnt right with the setup. i'd tune to 11:1 if i could. It drops to 9:1 and below if i give any throttle and almsot dies. Does anyone know the pinout on the 5sfe map sensor.

Thanks.

oh and pressure. u have the 360cc's u used to use?

Alright, i talked to a few people about this subject of using an msd 2 bar map sensor. My problem was that i was just gettin wayy rich readings at idle and during acceleration ( too rich to even drive), with my new 460cc's being controlled by an SAFC II. Anyways, i heard from a few people that using a 2 bar would help lean out my a/f's throughout idle and all rpms. So i installed it today. Seems like nothing has changed. I tried wirinig it in differently with no change again.

First off does anyone know the wiring of of a stock 5sfe map sensor, and then one for the 2 bar MSD pt#2312?

( just so i know i wired it in correctly)

And secondly. Why arent my a/f's dropping after installing the 2 bar? should they be?

feeback is greatly appreciated (seriously)

Thanks

Dan.

Innovate wideband btw.

Oh and for Manny (pressure2) if you're lookin at this. or someone else with a similar to setup as us, if you could remove the 2 bar while idling (just the plug) and see if you're a/fs get really rich. that would help to determine if the 2 bar map actually makes a difference in A/F's

Thanks again to anyone who has the time to help!

This is kinda wierd. Urban. You're fuel injectors are only 4.4% larger than mine. but even at the most negative settings (-50%) i was running like a 11-12:1 a/f during idle and when i barely stepped on it when driving it dropped to about 9.5:1 and started to bog and almost die. So mine's undrivable. Im hoping the 2 bar will help.

btw. do you smoke a lil when you're running that rich?

im using innovate wideband btw.

my 5sfte is running rich at idle. I have to take out 30% of fuel with my safc in order to get the 13-14.7 ish a/f ratio.

set up:
255 lph pump
440cc injectors
everything else is stock

What could be causing the problem????

2 bar map sensor. same thing happened to me. except a lil worse. i had to take 50 percent out at idle to get a 12:1 a/f. Im running 460cc RX-7 Injectors ( like pressure2 ). I am not 100% sure this fix. but sure enough that i bought an MSD 2 bar map sensor from summitracing.com and am gonna give it a shot. It'll be here on tuesday or wednesday. i'll let u know how things go.

Dan.

oh and what are u doing about your timing? and how much boost u plan on running?

If i bought a 3sgte then i'd have to get an adapter plate with an external wastegate port, and i might have to go that route if you guys cant help me. But Anyone know who carrys them? I need IT ASAP!!.. Im installing my kit in my buddies garage and have to be out by friday.. Have everything to install but the manifold. And i mean everything =]. Anyways any help would be great!!
