to be honest i would love to part it out myself, but a new job and a classic mini requiring my attention means i just dont have the time or drive space. its going to the scrappy if i cant find someone else to take it & break it for spares, or repair it, which would be a real shame. i can certainly fetch you some pictures though. is it a photobucket job to post pictures on here? if so you'll have to leave that with me till tomorrow although i can text you some quickly this evening if you prefer - send me a message on 07793 678670 if you want me to. |

Ive got a 1995 SS2 (Japanese import obviously) for sale Reasons for sale are as follows:
i cant afford the time or the money at the moment to get these things sorted out so im letting someone else take it off my hands. the good points are: interior is in wonderful condition - all seats are in lovely nick with only slight wear to the drivers side bolster (as always) brand new Cat on last MOT taxed till september and MOT'd till about March (off the top of my head, may be longer, certainly not less) so you can drive it away with the 4 working gears. superstrut suspension is all working perfectly (I replaced a knocking banana arm for the last MOT) This would be great for someone wanting to break it, as the car is generally in good nick and theres lots of useable bits, or if you are that way inclined it would repair up & be a lovely car for little cash but some effort. looking for around 300 quid, so if you're interested make me an offer or text/call/whatsapp for more details - 07793 678670. based in lincoln cheers Eddy |

Hi guys I've got a 95 SSII with a nackered lower engine mount. I've read loads of threads on the poly inserts which as far as i can tell all came from america & to the best of my knowledge, none of the american 6th gen celicas came with the 3SGE engine (please correct me if i'm wrong on that) The threads all talk about some mounts being similar but nobody seems to say for sure whether the SS2 mounts are the same as any of the UK models (toyota want 80 quid plus vat for a genuine one, with a 2 month wait for delivery - i could do with getting 5th gear back sooner than that ![]() so i'm trying to find out, has anyone else dealt with sloppy engine mounts on an ss2 and what was your solution? incidentally i want to fill mine with window weld since everyone reckons its the business, but i could really do without having it off the road for the 24 hours+ that this will take to cure so unless a uk spec mount is the same & cheaper, then i intend to get a scrap mount, fill that & then do the swap to keep my car on the road in the meantime, just need to know which ones i can & cant buy from ebay any other advice/offer of spare parts is welcomed ![]() cheers in advance |
