how much is a gt-4 runnin for over ther?!

yeah, when i first got my car (5sfe) i thought it performed the same as a se-r spec v or at least i could keep up wit it and not lose it.. but i raced my cousins se-r spec v which had had headers, cai, totally un restricted exhaust and i realized how foolish i was. mine was totally stock but still my goal was to keep up, and he flew right by me as if i was parked.

i see our cars as a not fast car, but faster than normal cars. ive taken on civics, eclipses, and 240sx's. but they are all stupid ricers, who put fart cans on. and as years go by, faster 4 cyl cars keep comin out. the srt4, rsx s, ser spec v, etc. so our cars seem slower too hahaha.

so i guess our cars can be fast or they can be slow, depending wat u are comparing it wit. since i am around a eclipse gsx (t3/t4 ) , also a 300zx turbo 89, and a modded 96 maxima, my car is the slowest of them all. but its true celicas do have potencial, and i do plan to get some of that potencial out of it.

i dont really kno the torque needed or specified.. but is it that important, why dont u just tighten it wit a wrench, iff the lug is good u wont be able to break it so ull be safe if ur worried about that. and actually the only person ive ever seen brake a lug wit a wrench, is me.

but its interesting ive never thought of that (cus is not that important), im gonna look for it in the manual.

this question was probably asked before.. but i couldnt find a sticky or a thread that answered my question. whats the difference between shocks and struts? my guess is shocks are softer, but i dont really kno thats why im asking.

i was adjusting my throtle cable once cause i thought it was loose, since it hags out so much. but ther wasnt any adjusting to do, the pedal to the stock mats was fine. i wouldnt do anything if i were u

i think its bigger than needed but thats not a problem.. problem is u need bigger injectors, fuel pump, map, manifold, dp, air/fuel and timing management units.. which i would think the kit doesnt have and that u need. i just went for a t28, cus im not gonna be boosting more than 8 psi, maybe if i really wanna beat someone ill go for 10 but not more than that, so i dont need a bigger turbo. but if u wanna boost around 20s then ull need the t3, but ur engine wont handle it for too long unless u work on the internals.

sorry, went a lil off track ther, but i think u should try to buy just the turbo, intercooler, bov, and maybe even the gauges. i dont think u could use anythin else from that kit.

if im planning on boosting 7-8 psi would i need a sacf or btm to control my a/f ratio or could my ecu take care of it on its own? id be using 450cc injectors and the 255 walbro pump.

unless u got a 6th gear.. ex: se-r spec v or 7th gen celica gt-s.. they are at about 2500-2800 goin 70mph. but yeah our cars are gear like that.

ive got the same problem, not as much oil tho. we just need to change our head gasket, and im doin the whole head gasket set (metal head gasket for turbo).

my gt got up to 127mph and i didnt top it out, i was scared a cop would stop me, so i kept it at 120 (i was late to my admissions test to college, and i was 2 hours away from my destination wit only 1 hour of time and made it in 1.15). i was on a kinda curvy desert road wit no body around. and i can say the car was really good at handiling those speeds, i wish it could go faster, i am actually pissed it doesnt go faster than like 130 is my aproximation. i think the engine can go faster if we had a longer or an extra gear, and id love that.

i got respeck for crx's, once i got owned by a trash piece a crap one in 1/8th mile and ive got a 5s and i think he had the 16v vtech.. i still hate them but i got respeck for them. once i get the boost in im gonna kill most of them crxs.

anyways, man, have fun wit the swap, i kno im havin fun buildin my vw bug hahaha.

ive noticed they sell 94-97 after market rotors cheaper or as a different part than the 98-99 rotors, does anybody wats the difference between them?

i cant seem to find a 2bar map out of a toyota, either on junk yards here around the city or at ebay except for msd and other aftermarket stuff.. so i was wondering if a mitsubishi eclipse gsx 2bar map would work for a 5sfte set up??
