Hi guys someone totaled the front of my 94 celica gt and failed to replace the front bumper crash foam so I hit a turkey the other day and ruined all my paint as the bumper caved in.... Does anyone have a foam piece to sell me for front impacts? i just need the foam behind the front bumper not the support bar. It should be easy and cheap to ship..... Thanks, Brandon |

Hi guys one more for you to ponder. I have been told the 94 celica AC system requires 7 oz. of Pag 46 oil for the whole system. But how much oil do you put in in if you replace everything except the air compressor? It seems as though it would be holding a fair amount of oil in the lowest point of the compressor. I can't find that information anywhere? Is there a guide for each part removed like a drier/ condensor how many oz. to put in for each part that is replaced? |

I have a place that might be able to do that but I don't believe they can get new ends to crimp on that have not already been crimped (i don't believe using an old end that already has been crimped will work?) Any idea where to source new toyota style ends????/ Thanks, Brandon |

Hi guys solved one issue back to another mystery. I need to replace my low pressure AC hose or suction hose! I ordered one off of ebay and it is too short with the bottom end turned 180 degrees off so i can't put the bolt through and clamp the two hoses together. The one listed here: http://www.autozone.com/cooling-heating-an.../?checkfit=true Is exactly like the one I ordered too small and the end is wrong. *Has anyone sourced the correct AC suction or low pressure hose coming off of the AC compressor? I need this fixed quick and it is not going that way at all.... Thanks, Brandon |

Hi guys I am here to complete the journey for this thread. I was able to source the correct AC condenser through carquest. He had to order it out of texas. I did not look at oreilly or any other store as this one was correct so go to carquest if you can for this part. I however have a new issue and will be starting another thread. I will also place the part number for this item in the future I don't have it with me now.... Brandon.... |

Good Idea I've been there they do list them just like all the other auto places and the picture looks correct just like all the other pics but I don't know if they really are done correctly......Like the one I ordered.... I will check into it and report what happens. I 'd really like someone on here admit to buying one that works!!!!! I hate threads looking for a solution to problem and don't report what they find.... Help my AC condensor is leaking and no one has a replacement! They list one but I ordered it and it is wrong! I have a 94 celica GT 2.2 liter. I ordered a AC condensor from Reach in Florida. In the picture it is correct but on the actual part the mounting holes for the AC lines are upside down. In other words the there is a bolt hole and a hole for the hose. They have the bolt hole location reversed for both the driver and passenger side so hose won't screw in and lock down with a bolt...... Has anyone come across this? I ordered part number 7-4643 it is correct looking in each picture for Oreilly autozone and ebay stores. I am currently waiting on one from Oreilly and Autozone to check and see if they are actually correct when they arrive......... They guy at Reach says I must have a Dealer option AC condenser as it is a different part number which is 7-4865 however no one makes one and no one has a picture of one either???? I will say this the used ones listed on ebay have the holes in the correct location so I am not the only one with this AC condenser..... Anyone bought one of these lately?????? THanks guys!! Hi guys looking for a 94 celica gt fuel door the one that swivels-pops open to get to the twist on fuel cap. Black in color would be great but I am open to what you have. Hit me back if you have one that is not rusted! THanks, Brandon |

Hi guys I got my 94 celica up here in northern Wisconsin, I've driven this old girl for ten years now. Over that period of time my wheel wells or fender lips around the wheel wells have been a problem the paint always gets chipped and starts to rust or come off in this area. ( The part of the fender just above the tire that has regular shiny paint on it) not the actual wheel well area. I realize this is a tough area on all cars as the wheels chuck whatever they hit at these painted surfaces. So over the years I have tried to come up with a paint or coating that will stand up to the abuse. I have used eastwoods rust encapsulator and duplicolor spray on bedliner with some success. but I always have chips and rust creap under the paint in the wheel well area fender lip area by spring time. I was wondering if anyone has a fender flare that could temporarily cover this area for winter? Or a say bedliner coating that has held up well to the rocks? I am thinking of trying raptor bed liner product as I have used that on other vehicles with some success........ Any ideas or experiences????????????? Thanks Brandon |

Hi guys quick question here for ya. I have 94 celica gt. I have a very slight to the point you can't notice at 60mph steering wheel wiggle back and forth. Then when I get on the interstate at 70-75 mph it is more noticeable but not horrible I could live with it I just would like it to be rock steady at 70mph on long trips.... Any things I should look for ? I have new polyurethane mounts in both wishbones so I am not sure what else to check. I can tell you this.... -I do have 17" wheels on close to 1" spacers for a couple of years now, camber has been adjusted so I don't burn off the inside edge of the tires like I originally did when I first added the spacers. Tires should be balanced correctly as I have 2 sets winter tires and summer that both do the same thing. -Are there any other rubber mounts that need to be checked that could cause this? -Any worn parts that could cause it? Any ideas??? Thanks.... Brandon |

Hello I am interested in: front exhaust from where it bolts to the header to where it bolts to catalatyic converter underneath. This stretch of exhaust should include the (flexible meshed tube) if it is not all rusted out. Light surface rust is ok. I am in WI zip 54490 Thanks, Brandon |

Hi guys my 94 celica gt has been running great in these cold WI mornings of -20 below 0. But today it was 7deg above and something went wrong. -I started it and instead of idling high for the choke setting when cold it surged around 1000 rpm. The idle went up and down about 300rpm constantly. Then when I went drive it the rpms seemed to surge in cruise control mode but not as bad without cruisecontrol going down the road. -When coming to a stop the car would surge again at idle and sometimes feel like it was about to die then it would surge up again. So after a mile drive I quickly went home and grabbed another car so I didn't break down on the way to work. -However I did not drive it long enough for it to fully warm up. So I will have to do that tonight to see how it reacts when warm So I need some ideas on what this might be? -My first thought is the O2 sensor has gone causing the car to surge, -Does anyone know of another sensor that could cause this? Remember my high idle did not come on when cold (right after starting it cold) it just stayed low and surged around 1100 rpm to 900 rpm maybe lower? Thanks guys I need my car back!!!!! |

Hi guys I've searched enough on this topic and need some muffle advice. I have 94gt 2.2 liter celica. My setup: I had a header, 2 straight through resonator mufflers (including the factory resonator muffler) then a magnaflow straight through oval muffler with no cats. This setup really woke my car up it would start to pull nicely at 3000 rpm. But it was too loud, it was hard to hear my radio above 65mph. So I pulled the magnaflow muffler and reinstalled the factory muffler. I really enjoy the new quiet going down the road but, Just switching mufflers totally shut any little acceleration I had down to nothing. It really doesn't pull much now and when it does it isn't until 4,000 rpm but with much more go pedal required to get it to move where before it took very little pedal to get it moving so!!!! -Has anyone tried a dynomax super turbo muffler it has a straight through design only it is in a full (S) shape so it has a longer path to travel hopefully cutting down on noise????? I was considering the 3" inlet outlet model...... -Or Is there a straight through muffler that has a resonator you install into the outlet for quiet mode and pull it for less resistance, anyone have experience with one of these? -Or can someone recommend a resonator I could install in the outlet of my old magnaflow muffler to quiet it down? Thanks Brandon |

Hi guys thought I'd post a follow up in case someone else goes through this. The rears averaged changing 2.6 degrees once setting the camber up in the air and then after driving, it would change around 2.6 degrees. The good news is the fronts where much easier they stayed within .2 degrees of where I set them even after driving. Peace... |

Hi guys I bought a set of camber bolts fo rmy 94 celica gt as my new 17" wheels and tires with a 1" SPACER are wearing out on the inside tread due to too much negative camber. -Here is my problem I got a set of eibach camber bolts they are easy to use and a digital angle measuring gauge so I thought this would be no problem. My issue is I can set the camber to where I want it with both rear tires jacked up, tires removed and caliper removed so I can get at the camber bolts. Once I put the tires back on I check the reading and say it will be at -.6 like I want it. Then I go for a drive the suspension settles and the camber is all off again. There seems to be no exact pattern as to how much the camber will be off once it settles so I can't dial in the angle I want. It is driving me nuts. It does not move from where I set it at but it does move after i DRIVE it the first time once setting it off the jack then it stays at that new position. -I am wondering if guys who do this for a living have a margin they now to add into the equation so once it is driven it will settle to where you want it? Any ideas experiences I have at least 10 hours into this so far!!! thanks brandon |

Hello I have the same car only with a manual trans. The only problem I have ever had is the coil goes bad in the distributor and the symptoms can come and go until one day it won't fire. It will turn over but not start. Not sure if that's it but it seems to be the weak link on this model. I have replaced 3 in 9 years.... Good luck... brandon |

Hi guys my 94 gt's celicas gas tank fill tube is rotten, the gas tank seems o.k. but where the fill tube and its vent tube connect to the gas tank all the bolts are rusted beyond recognition. Can anyone tell me if there is some sort of rubber seal where they mount to the tank or how they come off? Anyone have pics of these parts mine are so rusted it is hard to tell. I have the official toyota parts diagram and I don't see any seals listed for where the fill tube mounts to the gas tank. -I am also looking for a replacement fill tube and the 2 tubes that they connnect to off the tank. Anyone have a used ones slaying around? Any help is appreciated, normally i'd just rip it apart but I don't have a toyota dealership anywhere close and it currently isn't leaking but I could poke a whole in it anytime I wanted through the rust to so it's gotta go. Thanks, Brandon |

Hello guys I just waxed my 94 celica hatch back and I got some wax on the rubber seal that goes around the hatch window. Now it doesn't quite feel like rubber it almost feels like a mix of felt and rubber and seems to be very porous. I have tried all kinds of rubber conditioners to bring the stain from the wax out but nothing works. It looks like a grey stain were the wax touched the seal in many places. I also tried WD40 which made it darker for a little while then it faded back to grey. Any ideas how to fix this? I am not sure what type of material the seal is made of, it does not seem to be rubber as I can clean the other window seals off???? Thanks, brandon |

Hi guys thanks for all the responses. I've been searching the net for more info and even though I have gone to the main site for Greddy and Safc I can't find specifics on how they work. Does anyone have a link for directions to these specifically related to the timing. Basically all I want to be able to do for now is have control of the timing and fuel. As far as the timing goes I'd like to make sure if I raise it, the computer does not retard the timing unless I want it to. I'd like to be able to : -See when the computer is receiving knock counts so I'd know if it was too far advanced. -I'd also like to know how many degrees the ecu retards the timing when it senses knock from the sensor. -Next I'd like to be able to adjust the amount it retards the timing and turn the retard function off if I want to. *The reason I would like to do this is I have used the Winaldi program with my laptop to monitor an 89 GM TBI system I installed onto an old 70's international scout, With this program I can monitor knock counts and see what my ecu is reading from all the sensors. Then I can burn new chips using Moates products to create different timing settings. I can turn the knock retard function down or off if I want. This has helped me to greatly increase my fuel mileage through raising timing at cruise and would like to tinker with this on the celica but I don't know what piggyback or programs would allow me to do this? Thanks guys!!! |
