Check all RCA connections and splitters theses wires can short and even split if they are cheap also if your amp has high pass and low pass freqs then check they are set correctly.

Sorry guys but i swear i have flames granted i have to rag the bolloc** of her from standing but i have plenty of witnesses on a few occasions. I'm not talking fireballs here biggest would be a half foot out of the pipe burning bright blue. One of the reasons why you other st boys may not have flames is because i have an FSE fuel regulator. here is FSE's explanation In an electronic fuel injection system, the fuel is drawn from the tank by the fuel pump, and passed to the fuel rail for delivery to the cylinders via the injectors. Because the fuel pump sends the fuel in pulses, a fuel pressure control valve is required to stabilise the pressure in the fuel rail to provide a constant feed to the injectors. As you accelerate the demand for fuel increases.

"With a standard control valve the pressure in the fuel rail increases by 1 part of fuel for every 1 part of air in the inlet manifold (a ratio of 1 to 1). With a FSE Power Boost Valve the pressure is increased by 1.7 parts of fuel for every 1 part of air (a ratio of 1.7 to 1); thus the maximum flow of fuel is achieved earlier in the rev band. Or to put it another way, fuel pressure increases 1.7 times faster than with a standard valve. The result is a quicker throttle response, without those annoying flat spots you may have noticed, because the engines demand for fuel is always being satisfied. Acceleration is improved and the car becomes more pleasurable to drive. At idle, the settings are approximately the same as standard so CO adjustments are unlikely to be required.

The FSE Power Boost Valve is ideal for both fast road and competition use. Unlike standard valves, which are permanently preset, the FSE Power Boost Valve is adjustable to allow you to vary the fuel pressure as a further performance enhancement. This facility is mainly intended for modified engines where the demand for fuel may be greater. The FSE Power Boost Valve is complete, by design. Additional fittings are included, where required".

Yes these really works when i rag it is probably not burning very efficiantly hence the flame. You can even adjust the pressure at which fuel is pumped to the engine which doesn't do much for the wallet but makes the car shift good gains from this product would definatly recomend

Hey i need to hide the wires from my amp and stuff. How did you guys hide yours and where did u hide them at.
Also for those who have strobe lights INSIDE their cars(not in the headlights). Where did put them at and where did u hide the wires at thanks

the best way of hiding wires is to get yourself some sponge or card and cut out a template to the exact shape of your trunk. You may have to do thi in a few pieces for some of the stranger angles but this is no problem. Once you have your templates place them over some wood of your choice suggest something fairly thick but not too heavy and cut the wood out to the exact outline of your templates. Once you have your trunk shaped bits of wood cover them in trunk crpet or material of your choice, all of your wires can be run through perfect sized holesand run under the wood template. I have this set up my self and it looks good all that can be seen are the actual connections. Also doing this alows you to bolt in amps, power packs, caps etc with decent sized screws without the worry of the spare being damaged.

Hope this helps

I have been looking for a bodykit for my celica for a while now and have seen lots i like, i need a kit i can install myself for less then a grand. All the body shops and paint shops in england charge a fortune for fitting of kits so i need one that will fit flush but still looks the nuts. Also i will need it shipping to the Uk which also seems to be a problem for some companies. Anyone have any ideas on well made kits that look good and can be imported? thanks guys

wouldnt an exhaust with 4'' piping have really low pressure, this would make your car lose any tourque it had and it would actually decrease hp. Unless you have a turbo of course, in which case different mechanics apply and a big 4'' pipe is perfect, ANY one have pics of the GREDDY SP?????????????? ANY other good exhausts/intakes I hear the injen is good

Yeah thats what i thought but it can't have that little pressure cause when running hot it will kick flames out and it is only a 1.8ST.

The best option is to get one custom made. I have a 5" slash cut cobra backbox (ascar don't know if they are out in the states) which cost me 200 pounds which is fairly expensive but is a well nice box. The rest of the system is 4 inchs all the way through and is all stainless steel. So all in all it cost me just shy of 450 quid but it looks and sounds better then anything HKS would give you and it is pretty much half the price plus you have the choice of pretty much any backbox which is a big bonus if you are as picky as me. At the end of the day it may be a bit more hassel then buying a pre made full sys but the results are a lot better

I have had a full custom system made for mine including cat replacement, don't worry about the cops its not like they go round testing emissions. What is a good thing to do though is cut the flanges off the pipe connecting to the cat and weld them onto your new exhaust so if you do need to put the cat back on for any reason it is a simple case of just sliding the replacement pipe out and bolting the cat back in as all the fittings are already there.
I noticed power gains nothing major but it also gives you a really good engine note.
