I'm shocked it doesn't throw you back into your seat. 4th gear pulls are where it's at. Interstate speed races... pull up next to you and rev the engine haha. |

That car is very beautiful. It's everything the celica isnt. If the celica was factory rwd I wouldn't know what one to choose! I've never been in a 400whp+ car (270ish Hondas is the fastest for me) I bet it slams you back in your seat. If your ever in ohio I'll give ya 20$ for a ride and a photo hahaha. |

I'd take one, I emailed them and asked if any of the scion models would fit the celica. They never replied yet. That's been a few days ago |

just get an ebay shifter for a 7th gen. I have one in my car. no problems What one did you buy? I bought the ralco rz one and it's horrible. Super notchy I also used the bushings as well. The oem one was super smooth. I did buy the ralco,rz 6th gen shifter for old celica it was 20x better but also 2x the price. Reason I went with ralco rz for 7th gen was I had it In 6th and it was peachy. If I knew the 7th gen version of the ralco rz shifter was as bad as it is I would've bought the 6th or twm. |

http://m.ebay.com/itm/140332392814?fits=Model%3ACelica 20x better than 7th gen short shifter made by ralco rz I can't say about any of the other 7th gen short shift. I had that one in my old celica bought the same shifter but for 7th gen for my current celica Cuz it's half the price and it shifts rough. That short shift isn't to shabby. I'm half temped to buy it again but I think I'm going to go with twm. Everyone says it's notchy but it can't be as bad as the 7th gen shifter... Ralco rz is a b&m knock off just like obx. |

I know this is 6th gen site but my step dad is selling this 1990 celica gts. I'd buy it if I had the room I have 4 Cars currently. Car is located in marietta ohio. Price says 3k but he'd take 2500 lowest. If this isn't allowed just delete this and I apologize. https://parkersburg.craigslist.org/cto/5631063446.html |

Has anyone tried any of the scion or other model toyota trd quick shifter for the 6gc? They almost all look the same. Same basic set up. I don't have one of each to actually compare them to each other but from ebay and Google pictures they look nearly the same. A lot of us just used the cheap 7th gen short shifter but it sucks, it's not smooth and finding a real trd quick shifter for our cars isn't an easy task nor a decent price haha. I've read the 7th gen trd quick shifter works but I can't even find it anywhere either. I can find scion Xb trd shifters for 140ish and they do look the same. I'm half tempted to just buy it and give it a shot and return it if it doesn't fit lol but I'd rather know for sure before hand. |

You could always grab a digital multimeter, check your voltage on your battery. Should be 12v or higher some range around 11.5-11.8. Mines at 12.4. It should be in the 12s but if it's way lower than you know battery is your issue. You can check the voltage from alternator as well once car is running. |

Car-parts.com this site can be your best friend. Search the part and it shows junk yards with the part and tells condition (they lie at times) and price. It's under front bumper assembly not front bumper cover. Don't ask me why but that's how the junk yards list them. Most bumpers are under 100$ |

Out of curiously though...what does a stock 1994 Celica ST manual transmission with 120k sell for? I got a 1994 celica gt stock with no rust or anything, paint is perfect has 2 small dents in fenders wth 107kish 5 speed new clutch for 1900 or 2k i forget. I sold it for 2700 if i recall correctly and bought it back for 2250 5k miles later lol. But it depends on where you live and how bad someone wants a celica. I paid 2900 for a black 95 gt 5 speed perfect interior and body ect with 160k. I put 3600$+ into the car worth of upgrades rims ect and only managed to get 4k out of it. Biggest regret was selling it. That's why i,bought my 94 but it's silver... doesn't look half as good as a black celica. |

http://www.car-part.com Search local junk yards and you might get lucky. I paid 25$ each for a set that was In great shape. As far as buying new I'm not 100% sure if you can. But if they do still have some in stock it won't be cheap. |

Oh I know it's an old car. My 2nd car was a 91 gt. I was learning toward buying another 5th gen before buying my first 6th gen but the interior sold me on the 6th gen. I don't plan to track the car I live in southern ohio we have twisty roads for days. I'm in a small town so 10 mins anyway is a twisty fun road. Rt 26 is a blast it's like kiss your ass turns left and right. I wrecked my mr2 on that road lol. Went sideways and slid into the ditch kinda. And trust me I know about the up keep haha. I had 3600$ worth of just receipts of stuff I did to my first 6th gen celica but doing the work is half the fun. I just want a clean body that's rust free if the engine isn't the greatest oh well it can be replaced. |

There isn't much info on the st185 even on alltrac site. I'm thinking about purchasing one but I want to know is it any good in handling. We all know the gt4 is a better car but it's not available in the USA. I don't want another mr2 I think they look way to out dated. The miata is cool I want one but the st185 seems more appealing. I know it's a heavy heavy car but other than that is it worth paying 5k+ for or find something else. Many of you guys have owned st185s or at least driven them. Also is it possible to swap 6gc interior into the 5th? I know you can swap nb interior into an na miata it isn't easy but can be done. The 5gc has one ugly interior vs the 6th. I've had regular 5th gen gt but the st185 is a whole new beast. |

Guess I was wrong. I was reading up on it.. I remember reading something like Burien Toyota kit was good up to 170whp meaning low boost. Bunch of people say,the 5sfe can't handle boost while a bunch say it can. I,was wrong I found presure2 thread and he was 220whp. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=5574 Sorry bro I was wrong here is an entire thread that you'll need |
