Get a gasket kit from Napa or some place like that and also get a dealer 98+ 5sfe headgasket. Make sure its 98+ or it wont be metal. Use the gasket kit for everything else besides the headgasket. |

The hardest part about is getting the pan off really. Drain it and remove all bolts around the outer parts of the pan, there are alot. Youll have issues with a few being behind the cross member. Once you have got it off use a razor or something alike to remove the old gasket and then use rtv to reseal the pan back on. Once its dry or had some time to set you can wipe or cut the extra rtv off the sides of the pan. Its messy, a pain in the butt at times but not very hard. |

CP makes them, I have them in my car but they only make them in small batches when there is demand and they know they all will be sold or have already been sold. There is/was a guy on the mr2 boards who would buy 3-4 sets and sell them as people came along asking about them. The bore is stock i believe and the comp is 9:1 I think. Mine are 8.5, they used to make them all 8.5 but the most recent ones I saw were 9 I believe. |

You can get 5sfe studs from arp aswell. IIRC you install them with a allen or hex wrench first, theres a key hole in the top. Once their inplace you use a nut unstead of a deep bolt to hold the head down. You have to install them with the head off though cause you have to use their loctite or whatever kind of lube for the block side. you also have to tighten them every 90 days for them to ensure their product. i think its 90 days. Anyways Ive had head studs for 3-4 years now. |

About the 5s header, you said it was from a 5th gen, does it bolt right up to the 6th gen GT cat, or do you have to bypass the cat? And o2 sensors, do they go in? needs custom work or something i can put in myself? ...cause i lack "custom" money, lol. It bolted right up to my exhaust but there are no spots for o2 to plug in, they would have to be welded in by a exhaust shop. I personally ran w/o them for several years. I found a pic of that grill installed HERE gl with sale Yep thats it, I actually saw a members photo the other day with it installed also. Thanks for the link! |

The difference between owning and modding a celica over a bmw is simple, CASH. Celicas are cheap to buy where as a bmw is much more. That means more kids will end up with a celica over a bmw and asking the same questions day in and day out. It becomes very redundent when the simple truth is everything is covered in the stickies and searches. If you can ask it someone else already has. Manny has been around since day ONE trying his best to answer anything people throw at him. It becomes difficult when no matter how much advice you give some people they dont listen and 2 months later theres a "My cars making a noise with blue smoke" post from the same people jumping head first into a project they had no buisness getting into in the first place. |
