99 Celica GT - $8,500 OBO

Super low mileage - stored every winter. Great condition, well maintained with clean Carfax.

Power mirrors, locks, windows and sunroof. Leather interior.

Located in Eastern Canada, 9-10 hours northeast of Boston - short flight and great weekend drive home for a 6GC fan looking for great celica. I am living outside North America now or else I'd be keeping it.

I've been on the fence about selling my 1999 Celica GT but I figured I'd post and see if there was any interest.

It's a mint condition vehicle, bought pre-owned at a Toyota Dealer a few years ago.

Vehicle Highlights
Less than 50,000 miles (stored every winter - was a secondary family vehicle before I bought it)
Leather interior
Power Locks, Windows, Sunroof
Automatic

Vehicle is located in Eastern Canada with a clean history. I exported it from the USA several years ago and as much as I love the car, I'd much rather sell and buy a vehicle I could drive year-round as I would hate to put this car through the harsh winters up here.

Haven't really thought of an asking price as I am still on the fence about selling but the Kelley Blue Book value says it's suggested retail value is about $11,000.

Pics available in profile.

as for if it was worth it? it was 100% worth it for me... i looked in province and across canada and there were very few 98-99 celicas for as cheap or in as good condition as i got mine

This is quite true. I found a great 99 with low mileage. I wouldn't have been able to find anything close to the quality and condition of my celica in Canada.

how you like the car man?

Harv. It's great. Everything I thought it would be and more. It's in great shape, inside and out and it just went over 30,000 miles on the way home. It was hardly driven before except for a secondary car during the summer. Very pleased

To those who car, I got back yesterday, Sunday May 7 from my journey through 10 states and four provinces.

Sorry to all the peeps that asked to meet up in Minneapolis/St. Paul. By the time those posts were posted, I was already on the plane. Would've been fun tho.

Finally going to pick up the 6gc I bought (see This Post)

Anyways, I fly into Minneapolis tomorrow and will be picking it up, spending a day in Minneapolis and a few in Milwaukee (Giants-Brewers games) before heading through Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Upper NY State and the rest of New England to get to my home in Atlantic Canada.

So if ya see a white 6GC with temporary Minnesota registration rollin through any of the above, it's likely me. Honk and I may give you the finger biggrin.gif

Got my stickers too Coomer. They look great. Too bad I don't got my 6GC to put them on. Oh well, only 10 days until I do get it. Thanks!

i haven't been able to see any difference between the sets either. I have read the Erebuni has to be modified to fit a lot North American Celicas.

Will the VIS need any modiciations to fit a 99 Celica GT?

Can you guys tell me if the Erebuni and VIS front-lip kits are the same? As far as look, I find them quite similar. Am I alone?

white car =Varis GT-Four Extremor Body Kit
-Aaron-

I assume this won't fit anything but a GT-Four?

I don't know a whole lot bout the differences in the cars.

the white has a varis arising II (?) front kit but i dunno about the sides and rear

bboy

Don't think that's a Varis Arising II... I've looked at the bodykit guide on here and it resembles the C-One GT-Four front kit but I'm not sure it 100% matches up...

Valo, thanks for the offer. I think I'm going to be staying south of the border for the journey back though. Going to stop either in NYC for a couple of Mets games or in Boston to visit some friends.

Thanks again tho.

tan leather = interesting
auto = not my cup of tea

car = extreamly clean. Nice find man. Where you pickin it up from??

The car is in Minnesota. Gonna fly down in the next few weeks and get it. I know what ya mean about the interior colour.. It is interesting... We'll see how clean I can keep it. Not too fussy on a car's interior. Black would've been better but gotta take what ya can get I guess.

As for the automatic, I kinda wanted a standard but not a big deal since I don't plan in racing it. Bought it more cause I like the look. Would like to do some modification but not sure what or when. I'm not car savvy but I could change to a manual transmission after a few years if I decide I wanna change it up.
