If I can afford poly, I'd like to go that route, but I'm thinking I'm probably on the OEM budget. I have about $200 set aside that I can work with and I need to include a rad hose in that as well.

This may be a little late, but you'd want one from a '93-'96 Camry. 2nd gen 5sfe. After '96 they started making them distributor-less. Before that, well you will see the difference quite clearly.

I want to change mine this weekend, I can't take the rattling any longer. Anyone have any recommendations for mounts? Is it still possible to get them from Toyota? Thanks.

I'm assuming this site has some sort of moderator approval system for new members since my posts seem to not appear until the next day, so I'm sorry if this appears to be a double post. I managed to hack up the old tstat so that the valve is no longer part of it. Its basically just a ring with a gasket on it and its no longer leaking! Sorry I didn't point this out earlier, but the lower hose was attached, it was leaking from the point where the outlet bolts to the water pump housing. I just filled it with water, let it run for a bit with the heater on full blast and am letting it cool off before I dump the water. I'll check for that drain plug that was mentioned earlier and get as much out as possible, then I'm going to run some radiator flush through it, repeat dump, the dump the gasket sealer in there. After that, some Toyota Red and, hopefully, it will be happy until I can pick up my new motor. Then its time to make her pretty again! Thanks for all your comments and advice!

This may be a stupid question, but are the ST205 turn signals different from the 204's? I need a left signal assembly, but is it won't fit in the 204 bumper cover, there's no point, however if it does fit but doesn't look the same, I'm open to buying both.

Hey, all. I'm trying to flush out my coolant system on my ST204 so I can get all the green junk the previous owner filled it with and replace it with that beautiful red juice. I drained as much of the green stuff as I could, pulled out the thermostat, re-installed the water outlet and proceeded to fill the rad with water. I could hear it making its way through everything until it pretty much all wound up pouring out of the outlet. I would assume this is because there is no stat/gasket in there but, as I can't flush it with them present, what am I supposed to do? Anyone else have this issue? Thanks in advance.

Need to find an OEM front bumper and some headlights. Can't seem to find them anywhere without actually buying another car...

Yeah, it was P0401, insufficient flow. I will give that modulator a crack and I will try out that Seafoam idea. I work for a certain auto parts store so I'm not too worried about the price. If that doesn't get it, I'm not sure I'm up for getting under the intake until I'm positive that I need to go after the head gasket. Since I'm able to register without emissions, I'm not going to go digging for the VSV unless I have to. Thanks, everyone! Most helpful!

Hey all! Just discovered this site whilst trying to find information on how to clean out my EGR system and get rid of that CLE. I just bought a 96 about 2 months ago and love the thing. I've already had to replace pretty much everything related to power steering except the rack and have had to replace a few gaskets and seals so now she's leak free, the only problem I'm having now is that CLE which, according to the computer, is due to a problem somewhere between the MAP sensor and EGR valve, which are both good and I've checked and replaced. as needed, all of the vacuum lines between the two and still have the light. On top of that, when I fire her up she spits out a nice plume of white smoke and idles at about 1200 until I start moving. After that, no more smoke and regular idle speed. If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, I am open to just about anything at this point. Thanks.
