You've basically got the broad strokes there. You'll need the evap system parts too so you should get a donor car to pull everything from.

Oh hey the forum is back up.
I have busy summer so I need to check my calendar. I'm doing OpenSauce in July so the week around that is blocked out for me, supposed to be going to somewhere in Wisconsin maybe for some free resort **** with a friend (they went to a timeshare thing like a fool but we get to reap the benefits), and then Ren Faire I have to escort Jess and friend lol, I think there was something else going on I forgot about? I'll check with Jess and like sync calendars or something. ****.

I keep reminding people who said they're going. Actually, finally, got my antique plates on and car driven just on Saturday for the first time this year. I've had so much going on I just couldn't find the time to get the things done I needed to do to it.

Definitely, gotta go see the Bison on Buffalo rock. Plus we found a nice restaurant/taproom place in Ottawa but it's a little $$ if you're having drinks with dinner IMO, but the food is good so.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...romCompare1=yes

Those are excellent tires, superb wet performance, impressive dry performance, and surprisingly good tread life, plus I hear they're not super loud and don't ride like ass. Sad to see they discontinued the D3 in 205/50R16. I better not get a ****ing flat tire.

If it's anything like the Yelli Celi story, you probably don't want to know.

Ok this is 100% my fault but because I was at the mercy of importing / logistics etc.
We won't be there because we are on our way home from Houston having picked up our Supra 😁

This might be the only acceptable excuse. Ya'll going to Riot Fest? You want Jess's number so you can go day drinking with her? laugh.gif

Riot Fest yes. Day drinking no 🤣

You missed a decent meet, broke up early but I had a nice walk from a trail head to the visitor center and back. Jake would have hated it, too many stairs. laugh.gif

Guy I used to work with is going to be tagging along with me, I'll bring some waters and some capri suns. Anyone want like specific snacks or anything? I'll just grab whatever looks good at Walmart on my way.

If you know the inside dimensions and can find a projector that will fit inside (the Ford Focus halogen projectors are compact and pretty good, some LED units are small too) you should be able to polish a clear window in the inside of the lens. Otherwise it's making custom bracketry. 00-05 projector fogs or some older Lexus projector fogs might be work-able. IS 300 projector fogs or GS 300 fogs look like they might be a similar enough shape to not look out of place in the Celica bumper.

We're going to be out in Ottowa/Starved Rock with the dogs the week after the 4th at this place with tiny cabin trailer things for a couple days, looks cute. https://getaway.house/starved-rock/

45517-20220 should be the part.

Part 45517-20220 (GROMMET, STEERING RACK HOUSING, NO.2) was found on the following models:
Market Date range Model Frames/Options Found in diagram
Japan 09/1993-03/1998 TOYOTA CARINA ED ST20* 45-05: FRONT STEERING GEAR & LINK
Japan 09/1993-07/1999 TOYOTA CELICA ST20* 45-05: FRONT STEERING GEAR & LINK
N. America 09/1993-07/1999 TOYOTA CELICA AT200,ST204 45-05: FRONT STEERING GEAR & LINK
Europe 11/1993-07/1999 TOYOTA CELICA AT200,ST20* 45-05: FRONT STEERING GEAR & LINK
Japan 09/1993-03/1998 TOYOTA CORONA EXIV ST20* 45-05: FRONT STEERING GEAR & LINK
Japan 02/1994-06/1998 TOYOTA CURREN ST20* 45-05: FRONT STEERING GEAR & LINK

Can't find any direct poly replacements, but they do seem to make poly for Toyota trucks of that era, if the diameter matches they might work.

I do have a couple things in August but I don't think anything around or on the dates mentioned. Anyone know if Luke ever got his car fixed?

Work in progress

Because he's making it even better than it was before, right?

Maybe. I got something going on around the 17th but I think I'm free otherwise. Sort of far out to pin a date down exactly yet.

Hello fellow young people, probably time to start trying to make meet plans for this year. Starved Rock, suburban eat n meet, Dragon, Wisconsin, Southern Illinois, Indy, all on the table. Let's see if we can get Chris out this year, at some point he can't use them babies as an out anymore!

Every spring I get excited to get the Celica out and driving around and see exactly zero nice 7th gens, go to some meets where I'm the only 7th Gen, and have a good time with some old car friends.

The cable adjustment is probably just donked up.
Service info just says less than 10mm free play, so shoot for 5mm free play on the cable adjustment for that and see how it does. There's a list of symptoms and possible causes but I'm not sure any of those would be helpful.
