What's up 6gc! I have some JDM tails for sale. It has your usual scratches and blemishes. Although the right side tail light has a tiny hole I don't know where it came from I just noticed it during my walk around of the car while it was warming up. It's barely noticeable during the day but at night you can kind of see it. I covered it up with some red 3m tail light repair film so dirt or moisture doesn't get inside. Comes with original wiring harnesses one is complete with plug while the other is cut off right before the plug I received it like that I don't know what the previous owner was thinking didn't think too much of it since I was using the stock one. I'm asking $190 shipped PayPal or pickup for $180 Just trying to make my money back. I'll post detailed pics tomorrow. |

Hey 6GC! I was just looking for some opinions on what you guys think of painting the amber part of the tail lights red since I am 50/50 on painting them with VHT nite shades. My car is black (liftback) by the way. Would you do the same to your car? Cheers! ![]() |

I recently had my car repainted back in August and Ive noticed that my spoiler is sort of loose and makes noise when driving on harsher roads. So i investigated and pulled the plastic trim from the hatch and saw that two bolts were missing out of the four I blame the body shop. So i was wondering what size those bolts were so I can buy them at Lowes or something. Thanks a bunch! ![]() |

That wire is for the seatbelt latch, not the airbag. We don't have smart airbags. If we hit something, both of our airbags deploy. You can disconnect that wire any time you want for any reason with no negative consequences. Thanks a bunch for the info now I can be at peace with the whole process. Still new to this so thanks again for bearing with me. |

So is it okay just to disconnect it I'm just worried about the passenger airbag going off and destroying my windshield. Plus what if I were not to put the seat back and reconnect everything will that ruin the whole airbag setup or anything like I just left it there with no seat attached but the wire is just sitting there. Because weight reduction . |

Thanks for the replies finally got it the only reason why I couldn't do it because there were plastic tabs I had to pull off to actually get to the bolts. maybe someone will be able to provide you with pictures but there are 4 14mm head bolts in the front and rear, they are kind of in plain sight. Just slide the seat all the way back to get to the front ones easier and slide the seat all the way forward to access the rears. There is also a plug connected to the seat so disconnect that before pulling the seat. Should I disconnect the battery too? The negative side? Before disconnecting the wire beneath the seat? |
