all 6 of my aftermarket gauges are wired to my dimmer with no problems.

When you say dimmer, do you mean the dark green wire thats with the huge bunch of wires that's behind the gauges and whatnot?

No, I don't know what wires to run it to..

Tap your dimmer switch.

Hmm, maybe, but I think I heard somewhere it's not the best to wire things to your dimmer..

I'll be honest, I'm just very scared to do it myself, I don't want to break anything,. or I don't want something to happen where I can't the bumper back on or something like that.

Not only that, I don't know what it requires to get the bumper off, let alone the tools for the bumper.

toyota is not going to install something custom for you.

just do it yourself. its a great way to learn about your car.

Well the learning part is fine, but the other issues I listed aren't..

Alright, so I just purchased Angel Eyes for my car today and I was wondering if I should try to install them myself or see how much my locat Toyota dealer would charge to do them.

The reason I wouldn't want to do them myself is because I don't want to ruin anything and I also think the wiring would confuse me and whatnot. I also dont want to do a ****ty job.

The reason it would be hard for the dealer to do them is depending on how much they charge, I am very poor..

I also don't know how to take the bumper off, nor do I know how difficult and if I even have the proper tools..

Any suggestions...?

Well as I said before its wired and it works. The only things is all the light that are associated with the dimmer, such as the 194 bulbs in the cluster that light up the needles and whatnot, and the lights in the climate control don't come on at all.

My new gauges are not wired into the dimmer, although the green dimmer wire was cut, but was re-wired back together.

I don't know how to get those lights to work again...

I just got my glow gauges today http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/i438-94-99-...78799QQtcZphoto

But I'm having problems with the wiring..

Yes, I read the Indiglo Gauge wiring how to in the how to section, but basically I dont know what I'm wiring to what wire and how to wire it.

There's only 2 wires with the Glow Gauges, a red and black, power and ground. From there.. I don't know where to start.

I need help fast..

Well i just went out and pulled mine off cuz it was coming off. I do like how I looks, I just need to clean it up..

So did you all use SOS pads? Or what?

IPB Image

I used Goo Gone, some water and a towel and a really stiff black scrubbie type thing.

Yeah I'll probably get them, so when I do, and once they are installed, I'll take some pics and let you know the details of them and how decent they are, if they are..

Well I was origonally going to get some Polarg bulbs and a White Face for my gauge, but I couldn't find any white faces except for the Glow gauges..

If I had it my way, I'd get white gauges that look like the stock, but they'd be white, and get Polarg bulbs, but I can't find gauges like that anywhere..

Should I buy it or not?

I like the way it looks and the way it lights... My main question is this..

Do you think it will last and be worth the purchas?

Alright, so I've been looking all over now for quite some time looking for White Gauge faces for my Celi, with no luck.. I need some help on finding them. I've looked on Ebay and whatnot but all they have as far as Gauge Faces are the "Glow" type. Not only that, the fonts and number styles are different from the stock Gauge Face.

I'm looking for regular White Gauge Faces with the same font types and number styles as stock. I don't want to have to install anything stupid either, I just want to be able to put the Face overtop the existing Gauge.

I've Googled and Ebay'd with no luck, only finding the Glow Faces... (And I don't want those.)

If anyone could assist in anyway I would be very happy. I need them by next weekend which means I have to find some this weekend so I can order them and have them delivered by then..

Do you like this???

It's made only with normal lamps and coloured films, NO leds!!!

IPB Image

Hmm, it's very different and inventive. I don't really like the colors but that's just my personal opinion. I do like the fact though of how different it looks, havn't seen anything like it really before.

So how did you go about doing it like that, what was the process like?
