Look if you want bang for your buck, I wouldnt shoot for more than 240-285hp.

93'' Toyota Mr2 brakes will be perfect, new rotors and some good pads and some ss lines

ct-27 or a td06 is your best turbo choice (if you go td06 get an ex wastegate just incase)

Some decent tires on your rims. Just snag some azenis, cheapy racing tires so he can learn hes not driving a Honda anymore.
If your die hard on nur spec understand at WOT your going to bleed from the ears, I sold mine asap
I use a Blitz SBC ID w/ power meter for bling but any EBC will do.
If you REALLY are going Standalone ECU, dont go Apex-i Intake, get a KO Racing or Turbohoses Velocity Stack, ditch that AFM asap.
Dont do toms scoops, just please.
Dont bother with Co2, just get a Joe's Water Injection Kit

Which TEIN are you going with? Flex? Super Street? Etc.?
Shop around, TRD pillow ball mounts are the only ones that arn't metal on metal

Not sure in what you mean by "Supra style" but if your reffering to removal of that line in the side vent, 2 sideskirts do it.

Orbital, yes I have driven a 500hp rwd car but no I dont drift it. I have drifted in the past with a MKIII supra, the MKIV are a lot easier to get tail happy personally. Its just not a sport for me, he did a rookie mistake and needs to go back to basics instead of going in head first.

Playr158, the car is heavvvvily modded to be a great drift car, hense why its been so sucessful in the past. Its a car, yes. But its a responsibility given to him and he just threw it away like all the respect he has with the things handed to him. Personally dont like either of them all that much, supras are so - so cars in my eyes. But the second one was cleaned up really nice, despite the ricey exhaust

A HONDA revving to 9k maybe, my car doesnt sound anything like that near 9000. All cars sound different, but the second I had to drive that sound more than 1 hour I would want to kill myself. Any ammount of money will make you fast, but is it worth it?

Look at the comment he apparently runs low 13's. Tufy runs 10's, it wouldnt even be a conest. The civic is gutted with an expensive motor and im guessing a build. So no, thats like me trying to race a semi-truck with my mr2 then brag out it.

Building a 10 seconds civic is cool and all, yes its fast but at the end of the day when you get out of your car and walk to your door, you turn around and its still a civic. You can spraypaint crap gold, wont make it anything other than crap.

No its never been done, the orange one above is one of many from the UK.

they all look like trash in my eyes really, not sure why exsane likes them, but whatever. Ya like 90% of the people on mr2oc think its ugly to, the headlights dont exactly match up with the slope of the mr2. (least the MKII) Its hard to do, just do a flushmount or rev6!!!!

You could also go motec but thats like using a nuke to kill a fly. Not needed for our applications.

Good tuners will have access to a dyno, a laptop to tune, and a wideband among other things. Perhaps access to racegas if you want an agressive tune as well. and most of all experience.

Its not widley known so unless you know a tuner familar with it dont go that route. I have it, and im satisfied, but if I went back id go Power FC. (hell i wouldnt of used the 3s either haha)

Well look at it from their point of view to. Random kid on city property, id investigate to. They never know what your up to. But ive been watched in many places when taking pictures of my car. Had cops (3 or 4 of them off duty but showed their badges)walk over and ask me for a ride when my friends and I lined everyone up. (93 rx7, 91 mr2, my mr2, evo, 86 rolla w/ 20v, and a turbo s2k)
