I have a obd2 5sfe for free. Just need to come and pick it up. Lol. It's out of my 97 celica at 217k miles. Was still strong. Just pulled it out like 1-2 weeks ago for a 3sgte gen4 swap.

Are you in hanford? I'd really appreciate it if I could get that engine

dont get a camry block. they are different. i have a 5S avail too. ill even install it for you cheaper than anyone else

How much you looking to get ? What's different in the camry engine? Is the block weaker?
The 1992 gt I'm looking at has 120k miles on it , i know it's an older gen but from what I've read between 92 and 94 not much was done to these engines.

I'm selling an obd1 5s. It's high mileage but ran well when removed. I'll cut you a deal on it

How much you looking to get?

frown.gif I killed my celica guys. Long story short I was driving fast it lost power and start knocking. So now I'm faced with the dilemma of fix it or junk it. My plan was to get a long block off a camry and put my head on it if I can find a decent one in pick n pull. But I found a crashed 1992 celica gt on craigslist and to my understanding the car also runs a 5sfe on obd1.
So my question is can i use that cars engine to revive my 94 GT?

Sorry for not replying guys, I thought I would get a notification when people replied but never got one. I ended up removing the bracket on the engine itself and the mount came off easily after that. My problem now is that I spun a bearing somehow and now my car is dead.
I don't know if I should start a new post but does anyone know if the 5sfe from a 1992 will swap into the 1994? It's supposed to be the same engine and their both on obd1 so I'd assume they fit. A guy crashed his and is selling the whole car for 600 so I want to use that to bring my car back alive.

Hey guys new celica owner trying to get my car into running condition. The front and rear motor mounts are bad and I'm having a problem with the rear mount. I have it unboled but when I try to remove it hits on the rack and pinion. I read that I may need to unbolbolted the suffrage to to get it out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The car is a 1994 gt with a manual transmission.
