"Good news, we can manufacture coilovers for your model, 6th gen. celica. Our manufacturer has dimensions for the Japan model Celica, but we need to double check if it's the same for US models. So if you could, can you help us with the dimensions?

File attached is a general suspension drawing (not Celia). We need to know FL1/FL2/FL3/RL1/RL2/RL3 and BL1/BL2. By the way, if you can offer us their pictures of upper mount and lower bracket also. I think that will be great."

This is what they sent me.

Thanks
Steve

4age (16v) heads work well on 7afe's someone here has one putting down over 300whp turbo..now the 20v 4age head is extremly hard to the 16v head. The 3sgte head can only be put on the 5sfe making it a 5sge or te turbo or not.'

I haven't seen any that are nice at all over here. I live over off courtland and india...the nearst to sanford really.

The owner bill is doing pretty well in the D Drift, i think hes at least above the top 20. driving that trans am 240sx....hahaha

But yeah only good things, i told you about that one for sale in tampa on the tamparacing.com
Sean at Central Florida Performance is a celica guy and thats who i would go to tho', he worked at XAT before opening up his own shop. he has a nice gt-4 5th gen...rhd and such, plus hes putting a 3sgte in a 240sx. That should piss off those hard core 240 guys.

Also a Gt-4 front with lip, head lights, fogs, bumper, hood and fenders is like $1200 shipped used.

well actually you can total a house, at least here in Florida smile.gif and its alomost inpossible to buy home owner insurance just becuase of the hurricanes and flooding. and o also sink holes, they don't cover property so that $85,000 lot (yes a normal size lot is that much here in deltona) is gone, it isn't worth anything. And since yes the price of houses have been going up,when you sell your house you have to pay more for another, so it doesn't matter because its porpertanial (sp? its early lol), you not making money.

Also if you get to the point that you pay off your house, you have to pay $20,000 to $30,000 ayear, just in taxes and such, thats over $2000 a month, So why would you want to pay it off?

Steve

also, my car loan is at 6.5% which is pretty low, i also have the money to buy it cash..but theres this little thing called credit that you need to buy a house. My sister in law just bought a house it was $150,000. She paid 105,000 down!!! yes you read that right. And they still would't give her the loan!! she had to have a co-signer....so you need credit

QUOTE(Kadett @ Jun 24, 2006 - 7:00 AM)

Taking a Loan to buy a car/mods for it, is just plain stupid. If you can't afford it at that moment, wait untill you have saved enough cash to do it straight up.

I'm 22 and working full time since I'm 20. Living at home so no constant costs each month. I worked (besides school) since I was 13 or so and saving everything I had. Not buying needless stuff like sigarettes or Scooters/Mopeds. Bought a Cheap car (300 dollar) when I had my Driving License (19 at the time) and another one (2000 dollar) when I was 20. Bought the Celica when I was 21.

So then taking out a loan to buy a house is stupid also, Everyone just save up to buy a house full in cash, it so stupid that you don't have $300,000 just for the cost of the house, then add everything up...what? you don't have that in your bank account? Lazy!!! You've been spending all your money on like rent? why when you could live at home???

Sorry some of us have responsiblity and bills!! And fiances smile.gif

no hard feelings

i agree on modding the car, but buying a car? Atleast its a loan and not a credit card!!!

well most of the cars on ebay and such have assigned vins for one reason or another ,kit car etc..

i must point out once car is in US you only have to deal with your local dmv .. you deal with dot and such at border or port .. that is were most problems arise at port but if you get into US then rest is fairly simple depending on what state you live in . the hard part is getting into US but towing through montana border was easy and paperwork done before hand plus 200 bucks in fees and hello USA...

in building behind my car is a 94 rhd mr2 and owner has had car for 3 years without issues even with horrible vin swap and 2 police inspections ..

exactley, if you can get thru' port then its just up to local dmv, which is pie compared to dot, and port
