D60 rocks my socks. Ive had one for about 2 months, love it to bits, great size for holding not bulky at all, easy to use. Just 1 thing i wasnt happy with was that it doesnt do automatic bracketing.. Still easily won my vote! |

Hi! i live in queensland (just north of brisbane to be exact). Ill try and answer as best i can.. 1. To me a "Motor Mechanic" is just a general car mechanic, ive not really seen the word used to suggest anything else. 2.Average income, now that differs greatly as you can imagine, but to ballpark, the average joe, would probably earn id guess like $38,000 - $45,000?? give or take. 3. Whats the average cost of housing renting? OK now thats a very broad spectrum, it depends greatly on location, it can differ by over $100 a week for a similar house in the next suburb. but to give you an idea, in my suburb, 20 mins from the city, close to 3 major shopping centres etc.. 4 bedroom 2 bath 2 car garage etc, we pay $360 a week. (almost brand new home but on a small block) 4. LHD.... Short answer, no. From what i understand this varies once the car is 30 years old. From what im aware once the car reaches 30 years of age it can be imported and registered, im sure there is compliancing to pass etc but its definately possible. I see cadillacs and mustangs and stuff all over with LHD. Hope it helps atleast a little. |

The kits look good, has anyone that's bought one of these, either sprayed them with a tinted clear coat? Ie. Clear with red or clear with blue? Just to accent. Just thinking it would look good imo. |

i have a factory alarm system with 2 remotes, for some reason just yesterday the remotes ceased to work, well the remotes seem to still be working, when i press the lock/unlock button the red light flashes on the remote. the batteries shouldnt be flat as one was replaced not 4 months ago. any ideas? could it be the receiver not working? could a fuse be blown? i dont know... any help would be much appreciated as its rainy weather here at the moment and i get more wet when i have to use my key ![]() |

So this is kinda an engine thing but also a styling thing, I've been admiring, coomers engine bay, awesome, we all know it. I've searched the forums and found nothing. But what I want to know is has anyone done any kind of tuck work to they're engine? I got a 5sfe and would love to clean that engine bay up, I'm not good with ideas so just thought I'd put it out there to see what people have managed or wat ideas some might have? Cheers! |

haha silly mouses! i had the exact same thing happen, maybe slightly worse, the little buggers were grabing my dogs food, dragging it up to infront of the engine block and exhaust manifold and leaving it there. the only reason i noticed was cause i was driving along and i could smell cooking chicken. haha. the smell was gross though, and stuck around for so long. theyre gone now though! |

Gday mate, its really quite easy. Just don't go over the top or it'll look tacky and cheap. Also make sure you use a good quality paint and plenty of clear coat. All you'll need is Screwdrivers 380 grit wet n dry sandpaper 2000 grit " " " " Some plastic primer spraypaint Ur chosen colour in a good plastic/vinyl spray paint Same type of clear coat. Around abouts 6 hours. Basically remove the bits u wanna do, wet sand them well with the 380 grit, then wet sand them again with the 2000 grit. Allow to dry completely obviously. Lay down a good even covering of the plasti primer. Then a light coat of ur colour, then another coat, and a third if needed. Then u should atleast lay down 2 coats of clear or more if u like. (Obviously giving them a good amount of time to dry between each coat). Allow to dry preferably overnight would be the better idea. Now ud want to carefully pop them all back into place and enjoy! |

Edit* the painting of the guage surround was easy, just pulled out the guage cluster, pulled apart the guage cluster, took out the black bit (that's obviously now red) wet sanded it thoroughly with some 400 grit, then hit it with some 2000 grit to smooth it. Layed down some plastic primer, then 2 coats of aztec red, can't think of the brand of hand but its about $10 a can, and its just a plastic/vinyl paint. Then sprayed 2 coates of clear/gloss. Then I took out the green indicator tab things, cut up a softdrink bottle to the same size of the tabs, sprayed them with 2 coats of the same red, then put it all together. So happy with it! It was about 30-45 mins of actual work, but took over half a day to do for the waiting to dry bits. Haha thanks. And oi! The "flip flops" are red. Not pink lol. Just not the best camera. |

so over the last few weeks ive done a few bits and pieces on the celi. thought id finally do an update. Starting on the outside....... New Wheels.... ![]() New wheels again.... ![]() Onto the interior, Where are my seats???? why theyre being reupholstered thats where they are. ![]() My dash during the day.... ![]() I sprayed the guage surrounds yesterday. was fun, and am very pleased with it. ![]() My dash at night, with ac controls changed to red, guage cluster light changed to red and same with clock. ![]() And a close up on the guages with the indicators on (now in red aswell) so whats my favourite colour? ![]() Hope you like it, im in dire need of a short shifter, the blue box under the dash on the drivers side is my led controls, and my drivers seat is still there cause its being reupholstered after the others are finished. more updates to come. By the way the camera is just my camera phone, so it doesnt do the best justice for it but you get an idea. Oh and my car is a little dirty. damn water restrictions. ![]() |
