Well I successfully completed a track day at the local race circuit with no issues at all, It kept going and going all day.

It did however show up some points that need sorting, although the tyres are actually pretty dam good in the dry the handling wasn't great, just being lowered on eibach springs isn't going to cut it.

So I'll be looking in to some different suspension and anti roll bars etc.

Could anyone recommend a setup they have on there car? The problem I find with these Celicas parts are so dam expensive! A full set of coilovers are like £700+ whilst I don't mind spending the money to get results it's not a full on race car so don't want to be sinking loads and loads of money into it.

Any suggestions on suspension setups??

It needs a clean but I had just pulled it out of the workshop for some pictures.

A little update,

JDM Rears have been ordered
Eibach Lowering Springs are ordered
TOM's Front Lip Ordered

I put the RSGT's on the car and I don't think they look all that nice to be honest so...change of plan, paint the white wheels bronze and put those back on.

I needed quite a few panels for the celica, facelift bumper, bonnet, 2 new front wings as mine have holes in them and dents etc, the lower edge of the doors have rust on them so need the doors sorting aswell.

So I have managed to find an Astral black 1.8 SR for next to nothing and the bodywork is excellent all the parts I need ill simply take off and break the rest of the car.

Pictures to follow soon.

So after probably 4/5years since I last owned a 6gc I went looking for another, I wanted a little project, so I went on the search, in the UK there isn't a huge amount of Celicas with the 3sge engine in like there was 4/5 years ago.

So I found this:

I got it quite cheap but it does need a few jobs doing to it, first thing I done was remove that massive Hiro spoiler which to be honest didn't look that good. The car currently looks like this:

The cars current spec is:
3sge motor
HKS Manifold
HKS Downpipe
Decat
HKS Hi Power Silent Exhaust
18" White 5 spokes
GT4 Bonnet
GT4 Front Bumper
Short shifter.

Im not keen on the white 5 spokes so I bought a set of these to replace them with:

I think they will suit the car a lot better.

Its not really road worthy at the moment, the front brakes are shot and the front wheel bearings are gone so for now my daily is my R34 GTT:

Things to come for the celica:

First Job new brakes allround and new bearings so I can at least use the car!
Remove the GT4 bumper and Bonnet and replace with OEM bonnet and facelift bumper.
TOMS front lip
SS3 sideskirts
SS3 rear spats
Duckbill spoiler
Lowered suspension (already sorted)
late spec rear lights
projector headlights
and generally tidy up the bodywork

More pictures and updates to come as they happen.

Stance is unbelievable. Also how low was this car?

They were called chevlon racing, 8.5 inches wide cant remember the offset tyres were yokohamas 205/55/16 it was lowered on trd coilovers excellent suspension but really hard

Not sure if i will be aloud to enter this as ive just sold this but ill give it a go mods can delete if its not allowed.

1995 celica ss2, made in japan and stayed there until 2006 when i imported it myself with only 79500kms, it took almost 2months for me to get my hands on it but when i did it was the cleanest one id seen, not 1 single mark on the car or dent anywhere.
The car came into the uk with a genuine veilside front bumper and veilside sideskirts, 16" enkei alloys, HKS hi power exhaust and recaro seat, i then bought some 18" alloys, Jdm tail lights and euro raiser blocks. The car stayed that way untill i recently sold the car which i do regret as i will never get one that clean again. I spent most of my time cleaning and maintaining the car as i wanted to keep it as mint as i could.
